   Keep in mind that the sale Flip camcorder is a 4 gb — plenty big for most. The $179 FLIP on Amazon is the 8 gb (The 4gb on Amazon is $149). You can get the 8 gb FLIP at Staples today and get the $50 gift card. Final price $149 — gets you an extra 4 gb. Still a great price if you need the extra 4 gb.

   The $15/$75 coupon is only good in the store. It does work so you can get an add’l $15 off. Note the advertised price of $129 is for the second generation camera. The $179 camera on amazon is for the latest third generation version. Staples has the third genration camera for $179 in store / online as well.
   Thanks for the post, I was able to get a great deal using my staples rewards in combination with the coupon and rebate.

   Found the $15/$75 coupon but will it really work? Did it work for anyone? The coupon states that it can’t be used on a purchase that already has ‘instant savings’ —- which the camcorder does. Please post if the store took your coupon. If the coupon doesn’t work it’s better to save my gas and order online with the free shipping.

       it did not work for me. I did not notice the small print about the instant savings (mistake #1) and I sent my husband to get it (mistake #2). The store did not want to honor it at all because they said it was an online promotion only and my husband pressed, so they did honor it but with no instant savings, which was worth $35 more than the stupid coupon! Sadly, I will be returning mine tomorrow and waiting for another deal.

   I carry my Flip Ultra HD in my pocket and I find opportunities to spontaneously capture fun moments. The camcorder is compact and suitable to take everywhere and the HD quality takes the product to a whole new level. Battery life is quite good too.

     Thanks for the great tip! I bought a code for $30/$150 and used it to buy a cannon power shot SD1400 for $158 and will be getting a $50 gift card! Also, shopped through Ebates with 4% back, making the camera (which was originally $219) $102.64 after all discounts! Also, if this purchase counts for Staples Rewards (not sure how this works with the gift card and all), I will get $15 Staples Rewards! This is my Christmas present to myself!

   Go to staples.com to view the weekly ad and print the coupon.
