I love that you are taking the time to fill out the survey today. It really does help me! Remember, I do this blog thinking like my mind works, so sometimes I might not be clear to you. So I am glad you asked.
Reader #1 – Wish their was a search engine so I don’t have to scroll back pages and pages to find a deal you posted.
There is! Just look in the right sidebar and see the area under FOLLOW ME – if you type the word you want to search for — it will bring up all recent posts that I posted with that word in it. If you want to see a Grocery Store, just flip to the Grocery Page and click on the store you want to see. If you want to see drugstore deals, click on the DRUGSTORE tab and you click on the store you want to see. You can also click on the categories by store or freebie or coupon to bring up posts that I have tagged with those selections. This is also in the right sidebar.
Hope that helps!
Reader #2 – By making categories that make sense regionally could help organization – I try to read everything since I’ve already gotten so much mileage out of your posts but the category links don’t really work for me.
Ok I need help here.. Give me some tips in the comments about what I can do to make the categories more helpful. I am kinda willy nilly with the categories, so I can do better there for sure!
Reader #3 – I really miss the Rite Aid Scenarios each week. I know you still occassionally do them but they helped a lot.
I changed the way I have been doing the scenarios and I guess that I should of been clear. On Sunday I am posting the scenario with my photos instead of putting it in my Saturday post. I will make sure I make this very clear. I also did skip a few weeks but I promise I will do a scenario each week, even if its just ok. Thanks to whoever left this feedback, I didn’t realize how much these were used.
Reader #4 – Post more walmart, target deals. My area does not have rite aid and the walgreens register rewards are above my head. I want instant gratification with little amount of time.
I will do my best with this. Walmart and Target are such a pain because the prices vary so much. I will try to be more attentive to these deals.
Reader #5 – My big suggestion is based off the fact that I tend to read through the Google Reader. Therefore, most of the time, I’m really only getting the titles, so make sure that they’re concise and really tell the reader what the post is about. Because sometimes I will ignore a post based on its title. Just a thought! Also, what about a freebie section on the site?
OH BIG CONFESSION TIME – I struggle with my titles .. big time. I want to write about book in the titles. If you haven’t noticed, I am a little umm LONG winded. Some help would be greatly appreciated, so if you have any suggestions about titles leave them in the comments.
Freebie Section? I can do that.
Thanks for the suggestions.
No related posts.

LOL – I was the Rite Aid person.
Thought of one more thing. You mentioned some of the new ideas didn’t take off based on your stats. I read everything through Google reader and am thinking none of my stats or other people like me even count.
The 365 days of recipes is what made me think of this. I kept watching for recipes to pop up in my reader and only after some time passed did I realize I had missed them because they were in another section on the site that never showed up in the reader.
So my suggestion is that when something new is posted on the site not in the main feed section that you make a little main post saying it is there with a link. I just went to the recipe section and I am pretty sure I never saw that many come through the reader but I suppose I could be wrong.
I only visit the site to leave a comment or print some coupons.
Kelly,
I cannot not see stats from reader.
You should visit more often
LOL
Kelly,
I am working on something for the recipes by the way and it will show up in the feed
Thank you!!! I spent 10-15 minutes this morning trying to figure out where’d I’d seen the deal on the Disney vitamins and finally gave up. I used your search and found out that it’s at Rite Aid. Now I can get the deal and use both of my $1 coupons to score a great deal before they expire! YAY!
Yep most people don’t use the search.
Thanks for letting me know about the search engine! Never knew it was there, and it would’ve been SO useful a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for one particular post. THANKS
Jillian,
I love the search
This is way off topic….but way back in November when Toys R Us had the Hasbro game Rebate deal..which made toys like Memory, Chutes and ladders SUPER Cheap…I was wondering if anyone has received their rebate yet?
Rae,
My mother just asked me the same question. She has not received her rebate. We were just looking into it and it said allow 12 weeks, which could have passed for some.. I can’t imagine they won’t send it.
Kelly –
I too use the reader and I had no idea why the recipes weren’t coming up! I just thought that they weren’t being posted. Silly me. I did see one or two.
Shannon-
I am the commenter who wrote about always using the feed reader. It’s so much easier at work to look at one central site rather than race all over the web to various sites. I personally hate it, and I can’t say that this is YOUR SITE, but I hate when the posts are misleading. It reads “KOHLS SAVE 30% AND GET FREE SHIPPING!” And my mind says WOOHOO! And then I look at it and sure I can save 30%, if I have the card, and get free shipping, if I spend $75. Which I’m not inclined to do.
I’m not exactly sure what I want the titles to say, I just like them to be specific.
Heidi,
SIGH! I know that feeling. I try not to be misleading like that. I try to be concise, and not misleading. I have such a hard time because I never know what to write. Hopefully I am not misleading, I try to write with Card or something, because I also have limited space too. Please let me know if anything specifically stands out when you view my blog.
Thanks Heidi.. oh P.S. I use reader too
Oh and I didn’t have the recipes going to reader because I didnt want to bother those who didn’t like the recipes.
I filled out the survry but forgot to mention I love the featured shopper posts. Its great to see how others save, especially the specific transactions. I’m still fairly new and struggle a little with the best way to group purchases at the drug stores, especially Wags.
oops forgot to mention the upcoming deals posts are really helpful. for the really great deals, its great to have a little extra time to gather coupons or buy them, if necessary.
