Here something about me that many don’t know…Nearly four years ago, I was working full time in Corporate Finance. I enjoyed my job, but the long hours were becoming longer and my family time was becoming shorter. Before I started FTM, I was an accountant and had always enjoyed the thrill of of shopping. When I left my job, I had to learn to enjoy the thrill of getting a deal.
I wanted to start this website for not just me, but for all families to learn to stretch their money and focus on more on family time. Blogging for me is a choice, even though its a ”full time job”, seven days a week, I still choose when I want to post. As you all know, the internet NEVER closes.
The Internet is such an integral part of our lives and so readily available, I believe the internet should be safe for everyone, including children. FTM has earned your trust and will continue to posts safe content for you, your kids, and even your parents. But, I’m sure you’ve heard plenty of stories about sites that are not safe for kids. Fortunately, there are companies at work to help keep our kids safer online.
I was thrilled to learn that Go Daddy, a company I do business with regularly, is one of those companies. You may know that they offer web hosting, but did you know that they also work to keep kids safe online? Cyber-bulling and illegal online pharmacists are just a few of the issues that works to combat. Go Daddy has help pass both the Ryan Haight Online Pharmacy Consumer Protection Act and the Protect our Children Act of 2008.
