1. What devices can you use the Shopmium App with:
iPhone: SHOPMIUM is compatible with iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, 5 and 5S and requires iOS 6.0 or later. Unfortunately, the camera quality of the iPhone 2G and 3G is not capable of reading barcodes or uploading acceptable photos of receipts, necessary for SHOPMIUM’s process.
Android: SHOPMIUM is compatible with smartphones running Android 2.3.3 and up. It requires an auto-focus camera with a screen size capable of displaying pixels of at least 470 x 320.
How can I find the offer details?
In the app, you can access offer details by clicking on the offer, and then on the “Discover this offer” pink button.
Can I buy a product in a store that is not listed on the Shopmium app?
Yes, stores are only listed as a guide. However, you must buy the product in a store that provides a computerized sales receipt with the name of the store, clear product details (like a dedicated product line with the name of the product), and the date and time of the purchase. Sales receipts from small delis or markets are usually not accepted.
How do I get my rebate?
In the app, the rebate conditions are listed in the section “Offer terms and conditions” under the button “How to request my rebate” or “How to redeem this offer”. It’s your responsibility to take note of these conditions and follow the listed procedures.
You usually need to scan the barcode of the eligible product and take a picture of the receipt. We sometimes may ask you for additional material to validate your purchase, such as to mail us your proof of purchase. We recommend that you keep your receipt and product packaging until the message “rebate accepted” appears in the app. We may also ask you for an ID or proof of address before we credit your account. A given product can only be rebated one time for every: user account, physical person, smartphone, email address, PayPal account, bank account, Facebook login, and proof of purchase.
