Tis the Season, it’s Holiday Baking Season!

At our house we are always looking for new, fun, and maybe most importantly, easy holiday baking recipes.

There isn’t much time for creating my own baking recipes between shopping, decorating, school holiday concerts and family visits. If your holiday’s are as busy as ours, Nestle has made it easy to create fun holiday baking, inspired by the best of Nestle

 

We are going to set up the adorable Marshmallow Men on Christmas Eve for Santa.  I hope he enjoys them!   Some other recipes includes Peanut Butter Sleigh Ride Bars, Cookie Ornament Cups, Chocolate Chip Cookie Sled, Mrs. Claus’ Favorite Oatmeal Cookies and more.

    I’ve actually used the Nestle Jingle Bells in making turkey cookies for Thanksgiving..you know, the ones with a fudge stripe cookie as the feathers? They make a nice “body” for the turkeys and since stores put Christmas items out so early, they are usually available for Thanksgiving!

    I am going to bake the Sleigh Ride Bars. I have used the bells to make Hidden Treasure cookies (basicly a chocolate chip cookie dough surrounding a Nestle Bell). So many cookies to try, but only so many calories one should indulge in. Oh well, it is the holidays!

    Tough choice here. I think the Jingle Bells Cheesecake is something to try. However, there are cookies and brownies with chocolate and peanut butter that are equally good and worth trying. The snowmen created out of marshmallows are quite cute too.

    I am having trouble deciding on one.

    I am going to make the snowman cookies with my 2 daughters! One is 6 and the other is 3 and I think this would be a fun one for both ages. Sometimes it’s hard tp find things that both can do so I’m glad you posted this. I have never tried the jingle bells so it’ll be fun using them in this. I am sure I will need twice the amount because I have 2 little ones that like to sammple as we work lol :)
