I think this video from Office Max just about sums up what parents feel when their children are heading back to school. As my son is getting older, I see him as a little person. He is starting to have dreams about what his career will be. I am so determined to have him realize he can do ANYTHING, yes even be an astronaut.
Before he can be an astronaut, we have to get through the third grade. OfficeMax has prepared these great list of of back to school supplies . Each list is setup with grade appropriate supplies.

All the things on the list would help tremendously! It would be awesome to have a mini kitchen set up for snack time! My two little ones are too young for school, but I’m a full-time college student and winning for myself for the college student list would help me out immensely. That would be less money I have to spend oop for my school, and more money I could use to stock-up for clothing for the girls, take them to the museum, and sign them up for the baby/toddler classes in our area (I just think it would be fun, and a great opportunity for them to play with other kids!).
My oldest is now in middle school! Still need to buy the four function calculator – but we are waiting on that one.

the Kindergarten through 5th grade list would work well for my children. one will be in kindergarten and my daughter will be in 3rd grade. they will need many of t hose items- crayons, erasers, pencils, paint etc. My husband is a 4th grade teacher so that Teacher’s Corner list would be great too!

Even though my second-grader has been back to school for two weeks now (ugh!), the Grades 1-5 list would help us get through the rest of the year (and maybe we could put a few things aside for next year, when I’ll have two kids in elementary school).
The Kindergarten Through 5th Grade list would be perfect for us. Have two boys, one going into 5th and one going into 2nd!
