I have a funny story to tell you. When I was single, many, many moons ago, I used to live off of three things, Diet Coke, Popcorn and Dominos. I kid you not. Every Sunday night, I ordered a large pizza for delivery. I would eat 2 slices a night along with my popcorn. When I met my husband, he thought I had a thing for the delivery man. I would simply call and they would answer the phone, hey Shannon, we will be there in 30. I didn’t even have to order. The ironic thing was I was in great shape back then. Maybe I should consider my Dominos and popcorn diet again. I had this love affair with Dominos for about 9 months. I met my husband and eventually moved away. To this day, I still love a Dominos pizza.
I cannot believe that Dominos has been around for 50 years! To celebrate 50 years, Dominos is getting a makeover!
The primary yumminess of Dominos will remain, but the changes sound delish!
- Crust – A garlic seasoned crust with parsley baked to a golden brown
- Sauce – Sweeter, bolder tomato sauce with a medley of herbs and a red pepper kick
- Cheese – Shredded cheese made with 100% real mozzarella and flavored with just a hint of provolone (can I just say that I would eat a brick if it had provolone on it, so I am sold!)
There will be a great introductory offer of 2 medium, 2 topping pizzas for $5.99 each! The new pizza should be hitting the stores on December 27th.

Dont feel too bad about living off of pizza. My Husband, best friend and I used to get the 555 deal every other night 10 years ago. We each got our own pizza. I had leftovers, they didnt!!!! I think the new sweeter sauce sounds very appealing. I love love LOVE sweet sauce on my pizza, and since I’m not a big “toppings” person, it’s important for the sauce to taste great since there’s not a load of pepperoni and sausage to drown out the flavors!

The whole thing sounds good. My mouth was watering as I was reading. (Yeah, I’m greddy) I’m not a big Domino fan (I think it’s becuase of the workers not caring), but with these few changes I am most def. gonna give them another try. The plus about this is I live on a Military base and Domino’s is the only place that will deliver to base.
