All You Magazine sent me three coupons to try the Genesis Today line of juice products available at Sam’s Club and Walmart. So I took the coupons and headed to Walmart to find them. I found them in the refrigerated section, cold and ready to drink. So I picked up the Acai Berry Juice, Resveratrol Juice, and Goji Berry Juice and tried them each for 4 days.
Acai Berry Juice is the Brazilian Beauty Secret. Now when I opened this, it smelled good. When I poured it, it was much thicker than I thought it would be. The juice has double the Vitamin C of Orange Juice. I drank this juice for 4 days in place of my regular OJ. I used it in a smoothie and it was good. The little bit thicker consistency of the Acai juice, it made great smoothies. The texture and taste was pretty good, even my son loved it. The Acai berry is supposed to promote weight loss, so I am going to continue to drink this one and hope I see results.
Resveratrol Juice is considered to be the French Paradox. Resveratrol juice is a blend of fruits with naturally-occuring Resveratrol and other juices from concentrate. This juice is loaded with vitamins and has 50 mg of Resveratrol in every serving. I personally have a hard time taking vitamins, because they make my stomach feel quite nauseous. I did find that I was able to drink this, it was not as heavy as the Acai Berry, but I can get my vitamins! So this juice was a win/win for me, taste good and getting my vitamins.
The last juice I tried was the Goji Berry Juice. This was honestly my least favorite juice – it was very sweet for my taste. Now, I do have to say that my son loved it. He said it tasted like his regular juice. He probably will be the one to finish this bottle. The Goji juice is high in Beta Carotene and Lutein, I guess it is a good thing for him to have.
