One of my first memories in the kitchen is learning to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Now I use peanut butter for everything from cookies to pancakes and jelly for a treat in my iced coffee.  Even though cooking has changed since my days of peanut butter and jelly,  you still may catch me in the afternoon with a jar of Jif and Smuckers Jelly.

Smuckers is back with this year with the 4th annual Spreading Smuckers Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest.  Although, the contest is closed for entries,  help out and get inspired with the original recipes  by voting for your favorite finalist. One lucky winner’s family dish will help bring loved ones together for the ultimate family reunion.

One FTM Reader will win a Smuckers Tradition’s Gift Basket including

  • Smucker’s fruit spreads
  • Cloth-bound Recipe book
  • Gingham-patterned set of spreaders

    I tried to vote on Spreading Smucker’s Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest and I couldn’t find a place to vote. I saw a place to vote on the Pillsbury contest – and that was more of a vote-off… Sorry, but, I hope this is an entry anyway!

    However the link takes us to the Bake off, I clicked the tab for the essay contest and do not see any way to vote. I would vote for the Thai-Hitian Chicken Sliders.
