Now that Summer is within reach, it’s a great time to be thinking about Reading Programs for your kiddos. There a lots of great programs available and we have identified some of the best ones below:
Chuck E. Cheese Reading Rewards Calendar – your kiddo’s can redeem this certificate and get 10 free tokens.
The Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge – children, ages 4-14 can try and set a new world record for summer reading.
American Girl Read-a-palooza – get ready for pages of fun ideas, quizzes, events and more.
TD Bank Summer Reading Program – read 10 books, complete the Summer Reading form and receive $10.00 in a new or existing Young Saver account at your nearest TD Bank.
Pottery Barn Summer Reading Challenge – kiddo’s that read any 8 books from the PB recommended list by 7/31/14 will get a free book at participating locations, supplies are limited. Click here for the Summer Reading Challenge Book List.
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading – kids can earn a free book selection from the Reading Journal, when they read any 8 books and bring in the completed Reading Journal at your local B&N store.
Pizza Hut Book-It! Program – This summer, the site will be filled with fun activities, games and a chance to win prizes.
Half Price Books – Feed Your Brain Reading Program – earn $5.00 HPB Bookworm Bucks reward for reading 300 minutes, at least 15 minutes each day for a month. One Top Reader, per age group each month, will get a $20.00 HPB Gift Card prize.
Amazon’s Summer Readings for Kids – check out great book and e-book picks for kids, teens and adults.
Local Public Library – contact your local libraries to see what reading programs are offered.

Wegivebooks.org is doing their read for my summer again this year. Books are earned for charity/local libraries for every book read online
