What I don’t like is the lure of a “free” thing, only to be required to download an “app” or grant permission for them to use your identity. :(

Agreed! There have been a few times where I have chosen the “no thanks” option or whatever and it has let me go ahead with the deal anyway. I’m not interested in this one, but it might be worth a try.
We WON’T be buying Pepsi Next. Pepsi Co. has been using aborted fetal cells in research/development of a new diet drink. Websites I’ve been looking at suggest it was to make Pepsi Next taste sweet without all the sugar. Here is a Washington Times article. Check it out!
