This Halloween, many of us will host parties, carve pumpkins, trick or treat, or find other fall activities to do with your family. Our family enjoys corn mazes and pumpkin patches. Usually we decorate really great and scare all the kids in the neighborhood but this year with Sandy we were all in the dark decorations blew away and trees were down all over so we just handed out candy and wish everyone a Happy Halloween

This is the first year that our 14mo will be trick or treating. Granted it’s just for fun, not for candy. She helped make pumpkin muffins at grandma’s and decorated the entire kitchen (and herself) with batter.

We always have a small Fall party with family and very close friends around 2nd or 3rd week of October. Had one last weekend. For Halloween, family and simple food and lots of chocolate!
We don’t do anything for Halloween, but we do love our fall celebrations! We like to cozy up around the fireplace with a good movie and hot cocoa, or roast marshmallows in the outdoor firepit (until we get too cold!) I think this ice cream would taste great atop a cup of hot cocoa!

The next night is the Halloween parade, and we attend that in our local town as well. We as a family in Northern New Jersey have apple and pumkin picking close by. We do both usually on the same day. And the kids come home and cut or paint or both thier pumkins and we put them outside for display. That is how our family gets ready for Fall/Halloween.

We like to paint and decorate pumpkins with string, stickers, pipe cleaners, googly eyes. This year we are going to a halloween party!

liked both websites/ we love to make several jack o laterns. they are all over the porch right now, funny ones, scary ones, etc. (the chickens love this as they get the “dead” pumpkins later.)
We go to the pumpkin patch, paint pumpkins and are going to a “trunk or treat” for the first time this year.

For Halloween, the kids get dressed up in costumes and we go trick-or-treating with several other families in the neighborhood. All the kids have a great time.

We love to go on walks in the cool, crisp air and often end up at a local coffee shop and get a warm drink. We also eat lots of pumpkin things.

We go to our church’s fall festival and carve pumpkins together.
We decorate and invite neighbors over for big cookout.
We go trick or treating as well as make lots of squash recipes.

Like both on Facebook and the Group. On Halloween Grandma takes them trick or treating at the mall during the day and then we go to our friends house at night for trick or treating as well as handing out treats. We bring a big pot of chili and make a great night out of it.

I liked Edy’s & Dreyer’s on FB. This will be my 2 yr old’s first Halloween so we’re gonna dress up and take her trick or treating. So far, we’ve gone to the pumpkin patch to pick carving pumpkins, gone on a hayride and decorated our house with spooky cobwebs and spiders and cute ghosts :)
I like Edy’s and Dreyer’s on Facebook. My family loves the Autumn Season and Halloween. We spend a lot of the season going to football games, but we also go to our local Pumpkin Patch for a fun hayride, picking pumpkins, eating fried apple pies, and lots of other fun stuff. On Halloween, we have a Trunk-a-Treat at our church. We love fixing a trunk for the kids. We have a game and give out candy. And, of course, my two boys love to go to the different trunks for all the goodies. I am following FTM on Facebook, too.
