Can anyone confirm that the Cat on Crystal Light is NOT at Giant?

I am trying to work a deal where I double double dip… I don’t think Giant is doing the Crystal Light cat though…at least I dont think they are when I go to the coupon network site it only lists Acme and one other place.

I was trying to come up with something like:

    5 Snack Well @ $2.50 each x 5 = $12.50 – 5 instant – (4) $2/1 off Snack Well AND Cyrstal Light + (1) $1 / 1 Snack Well = .50 x 5 = 2.50
4 Crystal Light @ 2/4 x 2 = $8 – (4) $2/1 off Snack Well AND Cyrstal Light = $4 – $3 Dollar Cat (Now Crystal Light double dips with Kraft Cat So need two more items)

Since I had some extra $1 /1 Platters I was thinking of doing something like 16oz peanuts x 2 … the two more would get me a $5 dollar cat and with coupon should fairly cheap.

    So optimally it would be

    5 Snack Well (2.50)
    4 Crystal Light (4) + $3 cat
    2 Platters Peanuts (2) + $5 Kraft Cat

8.50 out of pocket – 8.00 Cat or total .50 cents

So 11 / 50 cents or 4 – 5 cents each. That is IF I can get teh Crystal Light Cat. Help! Anyone confirm or deny the Crystal Light works at Giant?

    • For the Mommas says:

Alan, I don’t think the double dip on Crystal Light is working at Giant. I am planning to test out Crystal Light Catalina, so I will let you know what I find out.

      Natalie

      • Alan says:

        Thanks tons Natalie!

Also…has anyone tried to see if the $5 instant / 5 will work with the Teddy Bear PAWS product?

It technically shouldn’t but I was very tempted to try.

  2. Ashley says:

found the Visine .5 oz on clearance for 1.99.. used $2/1 coupons from the paper and $2/1 from the peelies that were on the stayfree’s a couple weeks ago.. couldn’t believe they actually had 4 left!

  3. Sue W says:

Planters PB- $2.50, included in the Buy 5, get $5 off instantly. Use (5) $1/1 Planters Product (SS 6/24)= 50 cents each! That’s my plan. Stocking up for school lunches & PB cookies!!

    • Sue W says:

Hmmmm….now I just saw Weis’s instant savings deal which also includes the Planters PB. Need to figure out which is a better deal…….

      • Alan says:

        Sue:

I worked the Weis deal about 10 ways and each time the Giant deal = better.
Even though base prices are better at Weis buy 5 get $5 back is better than buy $25 get $5 back.

    • Alan says:

      Got 10 PB myself…same deal. 1/1 x 10 plus two 5 instant = .50 a jar.

  4. Valerie says:

I used printed coupons at my local Giant today, including a $0.50 off Chex Mix and $0.75 off Comet Bathroom Cleaner. The coupons didn’t double, and when I asked, the cashier said they don’t double coupons from the computer. Anyone else run into this?

  5. Carol says:

so is Mio a double dip if we buy 5? Will we get this $5 plus $2 from the Kraft catalina? Combined with coupons that’s a good deal for Mio. My family will be very happy!! Now if only I can find some more coupons. i only have one computer so I only get 2.

  6. jamie says:

i still have two $3/1 and two $2/1 birds eye viola coupons! combine that with the $5 off $15 special, this would make a GREAT DEAL!!

  7. PFB says:

So are the Lindy’s Italian Ices $2 a piece or $1.25? I’m confused!
