Please read this before you attempt to do the Aveeno deal at CVS.
Note: Amanda went out to check out this deal at CVS – as her prices change over at 4pm on Saturday for the ad. The regular 1.0z Aveeno lotion appears to NOT be included in this deal. It appears to be only the higher value items are working. I am not exactly sure what is included , but some are reporting the 2.5oz are working fine.
This is just a heads up to let you know that this deal may not work for you. Please report back!

My CVS wouldn’t honor the ad…the manager wouldn’t print them out for me, so I returned them. Now you can’t find the trial size anywhere :( I really got screwed because I was going to use that $7 ECB along with the $4/$20 coupon I was emailed that’s only good for like 2 days, and has already expired. I’m still mad about it. Now I heard that the ECBs are printing out for trials afterall, but I can’t find them anywhere :(

All you have to do is ask the manager to print it manually for you since the system isn’t recognizing the smaller 1 oz bottle as part of the deal!!! I did it & got my $7 ECB!
jade says
My CVS manually printed these for me to because of the .5oz error.

This works on the Aveno Baby too at the CVS by me…they were $3.99ea. I got 2, used my $3 off Aveno coupon, and also got my $7ECB…I tried the trial size first, but didn’t argue with them when they said no…This CVS has a few couponers who got very “worked up” over the trial size…the ad, i guess is a misprint… it’s amazing what a little “.” will do if in the wrong spot!
In total, I paid $5 and got $7…i’m ok with that. …

My CVS manually printed out the $7 ECB’s for the trail size. She didn’t seem to happy about and but offered it –the only thing I told her was that it met the size requirements in the ad.

My store honored the ad. I didn’t know about the ECB not printing before I went, so was surprised that it didn’t print out. The manager looked at the ad and printed out the ECBs for me.

My store honored the ad and printed out the $7 ECB for me. That size was included in the ad.

I totally agree that they should have worded the ad differently. I would think they would honor their advertisement, whether or not it was only supposed to be facial products. I am wondering if CVS even carries any “facial” products smaller than the 2.5 oz size. Oh well, there’s always another deal another day. Happy shopping.
Sarah says
That’s interesting. Personally, I would challenge it, due to the fine print in the ad. Can the store issue the ECB afterwards if it did not print, or do you need to contact corporate to get it sorted out?
Amanda says
Sarah– I did point out the ad, and explained that it does not state “facial” in it, just the what the ad said, we walked back through the store, and she showed me everything that was included in the $7 EBC deal, (which is much higher prices) its all in the make up section…. the manager at my local store wouldnt do anything about it, which for me was ok, I didnt want to push something that wasnt correcct. But they should have worded the ad alot different.

I am hearing that many managers are telling them no to the trial sized – the 2.5oz is working, so it would be $.29 each for those.
Betty Logan says
The travel size did not work at my CVS, however the tube of Daily Moisturizing Lotion 2.5 oz. did work to produce the $7 ECB – my cost per tube was $3.79.
Dina says
The ad says .5-18 oz if your look at the fine print. Since these are 1oz bottles it should work. Just wanted to point that out!
Shannon says
They didnt print the ECB Dina.
Melissa says
It did not print the ECBs. I tried it today. I know, they should honor what they print in the circular, but apparently they aren’t.
Sarah says
Call the 800 # on the back of the card and let them know. They are giving it to me via the red machine in store within 48 hours.
