Ok guys, I just was going to post about Olay being clearanced by 50% at many Rite Aids. I saw many items that were 50% with prices starting at $7.99.
In the meantime, Charles emailed me his great scenario that he came up with.

I just picked up 3 Olay Definity Mousse Cleansers for $4.99 each (reg $9.99), combined with my three $3 off Definity coupon from the 1/17 P&G, 2 lightbulb 4 packs, and the $5 off $20 video values.

I see many posts from people using $5/20 or $5/25, yet their total doesn’t show it is quite to the $20 mark, like 19.85 for example. Do they let you use the coupon if it is reasonably close to the required amount, or can you use it if the tax takes it over?

They usually look at the total after tax. On a $19.85 order, the tax was close to $3, so I was well over the $20 mark.
All depends on your cashier.

I love how men are working the Olay deal! I did today at Rite Aid. None on clearance in SoCal, but I still made money on the deal! Here’s my scenario
* Two Olay body washes at $6
* One Olay Quench body lotion at $7.49
* One Motrin PM (20 count) at $2.99
* Three Campbells cream soups at 99 cents each
Total: $25.45 plus tax
Used:
1 $5 off $25 Rite Aid Internet coupon
1 $2 off Olay lotion coupon (1/17 P&G)
1 $1 off Olay body wash coupon (1/17 P&G)
1 $1 off Motrin coupon (1/3 Red Plum)
1 $2 Rite Aid Single Check Rebate off Motrin
1 $1 off three soups coupon from Campbells Kitchen
Total out of pocket: $15.45 plus tax
Subtract $15 Olay rebate and $2 SCR = $1.55 money maker
Even after tax, I still made 2 cents!

I am having trouble at a lot of stores using more than one of the same coupon. They are telling me that it is a new thing effective 2010. Is anyone getting this? Is it just So Cal or is it just my stores? On a good note, thank you for all you do. You make my shopping life easy!
