March 16, 2010

Update.. I did a new post with video and pictures here.

So I was wrong about Rite Aid being well blah this week. Using some of the new coupons that came out yesterday and Robbin’s idea.

Robbin inspired me to take a closer look after reading her comment here. Her scenario is great, so be sure to check it out.

Thank you for this. When I saw that rebate I thought it wouldn’t be worth spending the $50 for the rebate but with your post I was able to do it and make a profit! I only made $2.38 profit but I was able to get 2 things of Zyrtec that we needed and if I would have bought that alone it would have been $32. Thank you for all that you do!!

  2. Angela says:

My Benadryl Rite-Aid coupon says it cannot be combined with any other offer. Does that mean no manufacturer coupon with it?

Also, curious if the stayfree price in your scenario is for two? Would the register automatically run the second one’s price at half off with sale? Or maybe you were advising buying ones not on sale. Sorry, thinking as I type here!:)

Thanks for the super list. I get so excited about Rite-Aid deals!

  3. Sally says:

Shannon, this is great! I had already started working on this rebate in previous weeks, but still had $22 or so left to spend toward it and earned it tonight. Just wanted to let anyone who hasn’t shopped yet know that the Johnson’s Baby Bubble Bath and Wash is also working, even though it is not specifically listed (only lotion and head-to-toe are listed). I bought the Bubble Bath because we needed it and was happily surprised to see it credit toward this rebate. Perhaps other washes are also included, too?

  4. Sally says:

Go to the Single Check Rebate site and there is a list. There are about 25 items to choose from, it is rebate #24. Here is a link: https://riteaid.rebateplus.com/rebatelistpage.asp?categories=all&from=shp

  5. Brea says:

Do you know if Rite Aid allows you to use multiple of their in ad coupons for the same item in the same transaction. So, if I wanted to stock up on Sudafed, could I buy 3 Sudafed in one transactions & use 3 of my coupons + 3 of the RA circular coupons?

  6. angie says:

Also, does the $50 have to be in one transaction? Or can I do it in several different transactions? thanks

  7. angie says:

Does anyone know if the $50 is pre-sale prices or sale prices? Thanks!

  8. Sherry says:

Could I technically buy just $50 of one or two types of J & J products or do they have to be a variety?

  9. sue says:

I am slightly familiar with it. I entered both of my receipts for the SCR. Is that all I have to do to qualify and then request my check? Thanks so much.

    • Shannon says:

      Sue,

If you did the transaction today, it will take a day or two to update in the computer. Once you see it update, you can request your check. YOu can only request one check a month, so be sure you are done shopping Rite AId for the month. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  10. sue says:

I did not get my $25 rebate. How does this work, do you have to purchase the items as lsited above and then immediately qualify? Thanks

  11. Diana says:

This looks great! Thank you so much for doing this for us. I am also going to use two Video Values Stayfree coupons along with a $1 Stayfree peelie.
By the way, I’m also going to do the John Frieda styler and shampoo deal to make a couple of bucks. Another great week at Rite Aid!

  12. Kelly W says:

Did you do it? Did it work fine? I still have to pull all the coupons. I went to Target today and most of the stuff was gone!! No Mini Wheats, No .02 hand soap, No I motion…. :o ( Waste of time.

  13. Sherry says:

My Rite Aid let me use a video values, in ad coupon and manufacturer’s coupon on one of the Johnson’s baby items. I thought they might not but they all went right through. I was very excited.

  14. Kristin M says:

    Sarah,

I was told the in-ad coupon is a Rite aid coupon as is the video values. You can use only one in-ad and one manuf. coupon on each item. It would be awesome if you could use all three.

  15. MandM says:

    I heart Rite Aid! :)

  16. Lisa says:

    Great thanks, you’re the best!

  17. Sherry says:

I did mine yesterday. My scenerio was a little different but still got it to be a $16.00+ money maker. I just played around with the prices and the sale ads and worked it out. I don’t have the number in front of me but I spent 8 something for my $50 worth of products. Very excited.

  18. Lisa says:

I didnt see a $2/1 Visine in 03/14 RP… did anyone else have this problem?

  19. Sarah says:

Does anyone know if you can use an in-ad coupon and a video value coupon and a manufacturer coupon on the same item? I have a $1 off Johnsons baby product video value coupon left over from February.

  20. Kristin M says:

BTW- This rebate is $25, not a $25 gift card! Even better!

  21. Kari says:

I have a question on the spend $50.00 to get $25.00. Does this include the items that are in the coupons on this page? Or only the items that are not coupons?

  22. Ueen says:

There is a $3/1 Visine in All You March issue.

  23. Samantha says:

If you haven’t left yet, use the Video Values coupon (february) for Stayfree in Transaction #1!! If your store allows 2 then it will only be 75¢!!!

  24. Kristen says:

There’s also a $3/1 Visine coupon in the March All You that could be used as part of Transation #2.

  25. couponlady1979 says:

So what do you have to do to get the $25 gift card?

  26. Kelly W says:

Can’t wait to see if it works! I’ll be heading out tomorrow. I think I might have used my Stayfree Bogo’s but still worth it anyway! I am assuming there is enough J&J stuff in just these two transactions to get the gift card.

  27. Michelle says:

Good luck Shannon! Can’t wait to see how you made out.

  28. Cheryl says:

Looks good to me – except you missed the product name for the sixth coupon in Transaction 2… :) I didn’t take the time to look it up yet, but I’m guessing it’s for either Visine or Cortaid?? Thanks Shannon!
