Rite Aid: Free Reach Floss & Updates

November 1, 2010

My trip to Rite Aid was rather ummm blah. I left with very little because my store did not have Soy Joy, the Splenda didn’t work!   All I ended up leaving with was Kendall Bandages and St. Ives.

A couple updates:

1. The 80 ct. Splenda with Fiber is not ringing up on sale.  Some stores are giving a price adjustment – but the UPR does not print. Update: John and Stephanie both had the UPR print even though it rang up at regular price – the store had to do a price adjustment. Thanks, John & Stephanie.

2. The St. Ives does not include lotion so the printable coupon for $.75 off is not applicable to this deal.

Note: The printable coupon that I am referring to says Lotion – I understand some of you may have used it, but facial scrub just is not lotion — so in my opinion and the cashier at Rite Aid – this coupon is not valid on this item.

3. It looks like the $5 UPR wyb $30 for the Diabetes is once during the entire period – so if you did this last week – you probably won’t be able to do it again. I am not able to confirm this just yet, but I thought I would make you aware that it may be once and done.

4. The $2.50/1 Kendall printable will beep and say it is not found unless you use it on an item with 69439 as the starting numbers.

I posted the free Reach Floss:

Buy (1) Reach Floss $.99
use $1.00/1 printable coupon
Free after coupon

THe floss was not on sale at my RA and I could NOT find it in my ad (my sales are usually right on with yours too). I didn’t price check it tho. My store doesn’t sell the 10 oz st. ives which is the only one on sale…..which is odd .. of .. them… (not really for RA :’P ) and I bought the bandages with the 69 # like u said and it still beeped! (but he pushed it through) Overall kind of ehh for me too! I still have all the candy from the mysterious up+ prints a while back tho…..

      Sandra,

its a month long sale, so its not in the ad – have them scan it – I bet it will come $.99!

I didnt think my Rite Aid had the St. Ives either, they were in a different aisle – in an odd place – I even asked the girl and she said they dint have it.

The Febreeze stuff is also a good deal, the items are basically .49 which I think is very good. The Tide Stain release (small bottles are basically .99 after the Up Rewards, it is not a great week but compared to the CVS and Walgreens, it is very good. The good deals are at Weis this week, you can stock up on Mouthwash, toothpaste (which I already too much of), Olay and Secret (thanks Sharon for the post). I did pretty good at CVS though, I got the Oral B, battery powered toothbrush and the Olay Body Wash which will be a great items for the people I shop for.

The St. Ives was not a good deal here in CA. The sale price was 5.88. SCR $1.00. 1.00 +upreward. That leaves a balance cost of 3.88. And yes I agree the coupon for the lotion should not work. Any cashier looking at it would not even try it.

My Splenda with Fiber (and without) printed the UPR although neither rang up on sale. I found again this week that short ad people (not to be confused with short people, lol) need to check prices at the register bc I live in the short ad area but was able to do deals not listed in my ad- so it seems we do get the deals, just not the actual ad! I’ll take it! :) I stocked up yesterday- got $93 in merchandise and made $3- my total oop was actually negative by .43! Not beating my mm trip of $70 a few weeks ago, but definitely a good deal! Thanks for the updates.

I know the $5/$25 exp. 10/31 PDF worked again, any news on if they will bring back the 11/31 $5/$25? It’s still showing up blank for me :( But I thought since they fixed that one, they’d fix this one. I was hoping anyway! :)

I made sure to get the collagen moisturizer just so I could use the .75 coupon. I know it’s a stretch but moisturizer for your face really kind of IS a body lotion. Haha.

  6. Stephanie says:

I did get a UPR for each splenda with fiber I bought, but it definitely rang up regular price.

  7. John says:

    Shannon:

I bought the Splenda with fiber and my store adjusted the price since is was 80ct and the ad states 80-100 count. I also DID get the UPs for buying the Splenda. I bought 7 and got 7 UP rewards.

I actually had a pretty good shopping trip to Rite Aid today! I did 2 transactions and was able to use 2 $5/25 PDF coupons (no beeping at the register!)
    I bought:
    2 Kelloggs Mini Wheats
    2 Head and Shoulders
    2 Pantene
2 Olay 6 pack bar soaps
    2 Secret travel deodorants
1 Glad 20 count trash bag
    2 20oz Tide stain release
    1 St. Ives Moisturizer
My total OOP will end up being $7.89 (after my St. Ives SCR clears)!!
And I actually needed all of this stuff :)

  9. carrie says:

I used the St. Ives too , it didn’t beep for the face scrub.

  10. Grace says:

Looks like a dead week at Rite Aid, but I need the break. :) How bad does that sound? I’m just saving my ups for next week.

  11. Chachu says:

My cashier told me to get the Collagen Moisturiser and said that my (not printed, from an insert) $0.75 off MQ would be fine.

  12. Michele says:

Shannon I bought the Collagen Moisturizer 10oz tub and it was on sale for $3.99. Still waiting for it to clear the SCR but it’s the 2nd item listed in the scr booklet.

    • Shannon says:

      @Michele,

I got that, but the coupon was for the lotions (the bottles – it beeped and I didnt realize it until the cashier showed me).

      • Michele says:

        @Shannon,
Ah ok. I used the $1 insert for any lotion and it went through. I read the tub and it says it’s a lotion. I hope this was correct.

  13. christina says:

Oh! I guess my Rite Aid (and I) didn’t notice about the St Ive’s coupon…I was able to use it. Seems like there’s not much this week!
