I had this same problem about a month ago so I emailed RiteAid to find out the answer so that I would have it in writing from them the next time. This is how they explained it to me:
“When items are features on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to 2 coupons can be used against the items being purchased as long as the net price does not go below zero for the item being purchased. If a customer presents a Buy One, Get One Free coupon for the purchase of 2 items that are on a Buy One, Get One Free promtion, we accept the coupon essentially making both items free.”
They also said that the free items would have tax applied where applicable by law. You could email them too about this question so that you could show the manager next time. Hope this helps!

Boo – there were no Pampers or Starburst at my Rite Aid so I couldn’t get anything. John Frieda looked pretty picked over too but I wasn’t gonig to get any anyway since I don’t get the paper and its coupons. But I did get some Renpure conditioner which had a free rebate attached to it as did the Organix hair products. So I was at least able to use my $3/15 cause I needed some milk and eggs too and luckily, they carry a local farm’s that I like (and is cheaper than my grocery store’s!).

I went in with the buy one get one coupon for the covergirl. The manager tried to tell me that I could not use it with their buy one get one promo. I told her that I thought she was wrong. She said she did not want to argue with me so she would allow me to do it. What exactly is their policy on this? Can anyone help?

Can you use a coupon with an ad perks coupon for the same product? Whenever I have tried to do this it will not ring in both coupons and I wasn’t sure if you are allowed to use both so I didn’t argue the point.

Also in addition to the P&G promo gift card you could use your receipt towards the P&G Coupon booklet:

For the $30 = $10 gift card deal, do things you get free count toward it? For instance:

Buy a 4-ct Fusion refill pack @ ~$14.99
receive Fusion razor with coupon (worth ~9.99)
receive Fusion shave gel (Rite Aid deal) (worth ~3.99)

That’s not quite to $30 yet, but you get my point. Does only the $14.99 count or would that already be up to 28.97?

In the P&G match-up you have 2 coupons listed for pampers wipes, but you’re only buying one pack of wipes:
Use (1) $1.50/1 Pampers Wipes
Use (1) $1.50/1 Dayquil
Use (1) $1.00/1 Oral-B Toothbrush
Use (1) $.75/1 Pampers Wipes

and in the list just above that, you say to use the .50 coupon from the 2/7 P&G…so I’m just a little confused (my insert only had a .20 coupon, which is probably the same as your .50 coupon). Where do the $1.50 and $0.75 coupons come from?
