Here are the Rite Aid Coupon Matchups & Deals for the week of 5/25/14.
I wanted to do the free Hershey’s deal, but they said I couldn’t use the coupons on the ones that were on sale. Had to be the 6 pk. of the large Hershey’s bars. The coupon merely said “6 pk.” with no other specifics, but I didn’t argue. Was disappointed, though!
There is a huge moneymaker for the Bayer Aspirin at Rite Aid this week. They are 3.49, buy one, get one 50% off. The deal is buy 4, get 8.00 in UPR. The math goes like this buy 4, 10.48, use 4 1.50 coupons in SS 5/4, pay 4.47, get 8.00 in UPR. The coupon is for any Bayer Aspirin 20 count or higher so it can be used in any of the Bayer. The issue will be finding the cheapest Bayer which is the lose dose and chewables, they will stocked out soon.
I missed the coupons that weekend. I’m kicking myself now!
I just bought those. Got the low dose, which was $3.29 at my store. I had to argue with the cashier a bit, though — at first, she scanned my card at the beginning, and then the items, and then it wouldn’t accept my coupons because the +UP rewards I had on my card covered almost the whole price. I knew that all of the rewards except $3 didn’t expire until next week, so I didn’t want to use them. I asked her to take off the rewards so that she could scan the coupons, which I’ve done at Rite Aid before, and she said that she couldn’t do that. She kept repeating, “You just pay 35 cents. Why do you want to pay more?” I suggested canceling the order, and then scanning it again, and this time, scanning my card after scanning the coupons, and she kept insisting, “No, you cannot do that.” Finally, I somehow convinced her to scan the things in the order I wanted her to scan them, so that I ended up paying $1 more in cash but $6 less from my +UP rewards, and she seemed totally confused as to why I wanted to do it that way, but she let it go through, since the machine let it go through.
