Neutrogena Rebate Scenarios – Up to $31.99 Profit

The new Neutrogena rebate has some great possibilities.

Rite Aid

Neutrogena $39.99 (sorry for the blurry mess of a picture)
use $5.00/$25.00 Video Values
use $5.00/1 Printable Coupon
Get $2.00 UPR
Pay $27.99
Get $39.99 Rebate
Free + Moneymaker after rebate = $12.00 Overage

If you have not submitted your Skin Care Rebate, you can submit for $10 and $5.00, making this a huge overage. = making this $27.99 overage

Now here is an idea to turn this into an even bigger overage if you haven’t done the skin care rebate…

Buy (1) Neutrogena $39.99
Buy $11.01 in Other qualifying skin care products (I am sure there are coupons out there to!)
Total $50.00
use $5.00/$25.00 Video Values
use $5.00/1 Printable Coupon
Get $2.00 UPR
Pay $38.00
Get $39.99 Mail In Rebate
Get $30.00 SCR
$31.99 Overage

Thanks to Noelle, Kathy & Wicked Cool Deals

You can also pick it up at  CVS and Walgreens for $5.00 money makers.

    Well, “my cashier” was on duty and didn’t have an issue with it. =) I wish I could put her in my pocket and have her ring me up everytime I went to Rite Aid.. lol

  • Jen T

    Will Rite Aid usually accept b&w coupons? (VV and manufacturer) I just printed my VV and the $5 off cpn and realized I was out of color ink. =(

  • Bren

    It worked! I had to go to four Rite Aids before I found it in stock. But, everything worked smoothly. The UP printed and I also bought two Aveeno bodywashes (on sale for BYGO 50% off) and used a $2/2 Aveeno coupon to get the skincare rebate. I entered my receipt and it was accepted and I requested my rebate $25 gift card and a $5 bonus gift card today. :) So, I can confirm that the $50 minimum purchase is truly before coupons. So, I made over $33 on this transaction!!!!!!

  • Ada

    @ Shannon
    It wasn’t in the weekly circular. Oh well :)

  • Ada

    I’m one of the unlucky ones whose 2$ UPR did not print. Any suggestions if there’s anything I can do about this?
    Thanks,
    Ada

    • Shannon

      @Ada,

      Was it in your ad? If so, call customer service and they should be able to check your transaction.

  • lisa

    I cannot find it in northwest ohio either.

  • Meredith

    I don’t understand the $30 SCR. If it comes back in the form of a RA giftcard, how is that an SCR?

    • Shannon

      @Meredith,

      Many SCR are Gift cards.

  • Krissi

    Never mind. I managed to track one down. Wow, those things are few and far between.

  • Krissi

    I have checked like 10 different Rite Aids within reasonable driving distance and no one has it. Either they had one and it is gone (the case with my closest store) or they don’t have it yet. Can I buy it onlline and still get the whole thing to work?

  • Katherine

    Thanks, Shannon for this deal post! I think it all worked out. I love this blog and I love Rite Aid (especially when everything works out and the cashiers are friendly :)

  • Jennifer

    Our rite aids in Michigan dont’ carry this product:(

  • Kristin

    Hi,

    I just recently got 150 Wellness plus points so I will get a one-time 10% off shopping pass. I’m not sure whether to use it for the Nutrogena Clinical deal? Will Nutrogena give me the full reimbursement or will they subtract the 10% from the price… I’m a little confused.

    • Shannon

      @Kristin,
      I would NOT use it on this. It may reduce the price of the Neutrogena .

  • I have never shopped at Rite Aid before, but this deal will make me start! I understand everything listed here, I think, but I do have two questions:

    -The $2 UP reward you get has to be used on future purchases, correct? It can’t be used on this purchase?

    -What is the deal with the 20% off Wellness discount? What does that mean?

    Thank you!!

    • Shannon

      @Beth,

      The 20% is for those of us who have wellness cards with 20% off, this would not be applicable if you havent shopped before.

  • Angel

    Riteaid Rebate is based on actual price paid (after any & all coupons are used). Sales tax excluded.

    • Shannon

      @Angel,

      No actually it is not. It clears based on retail price before coupons.

  • Diana

    Hi Shannon,

    Any good ideas on what to spend the other $11.01 on? I think you mentioned the CeraVe($10.99) is included, right? But I’d still need 2 cents’ worth!

    Also, with our 20% Wellness discount, how is this going to affect our $50 total? Will we have to spend 20% more to reach the $50 threshold or is it original price?

    • Shannon

      @Diana,

      I am not sure that the CeraVe is included. The Wellness discount at 20% is going to affect it for sure. I have already done my Skincare rebate so I am not able to do this one. Aveeno is B1G150 this week maybe there or Coppertone with the in ad coupon.

  • I knew there was a reason I was waiting on this skin care rebate, woo hoo!

  • Jessica

    is the $2 up reward this week or next week?

    • Shannon

      @Jessica,

      same time as the rebate.

  • lilia

    i have a %1o off one time use pass can i use it with this senario

  • Anonymous

    where is the 39.99 rebate?

    • Shannon

      @,

      It is linked in the post.

  • Linda

    I just requested my $15 skincare rebate yesterday :(. I’m so bummed! Lesson learned.

  • Erica

    Right now I’m qualified for RA $10 skin care gift card with total value purchase around $28. If I do this deal, does that mean I will be qualified for $25 RA gift card instead of $10 because the total skin care purchases will exceed $50??

  • Sally

    If the regular price is 39.99, then it will be 32.99 if you have the 20% Wellness discount…can’t decide if that’s a good thing or not!
    This will also be a good transaction to use any big +up rewards that are otherwise hard to use up!
    Is there a $1 off skincare coupon as well???

  • Stacie

    The rebate offer # is 555. If you purchase $50.00 you receive a $25.00 gift card, plus if you use your wellness card you will receive $5.00 more, adding up to $30.00.

  • wendy

    I need help with my 2010 skin care rebate! On the site under that section is shows that I have a $25 gift card and a $5 BONUS. Should I ask for those/request them NOW or do I need to wait awhile because there will be additional offers that I don’t want to miss? Thanks for your help!

    • Shannon

      @wendy,

      You cannot earn anymore under that SCR, so you can request them.

  • Kathy

    Am I the only one not seeing where it says you get a $30 SCR on this?? Even though it says “Gift card will be mailed separate from rebate check”…I don’t see “$30″ rebate anywhere. Help!!! Thanks!

  • Norma

    Hi Shannon,
    I was going over this week’s flyer for RA & noticed that next to the ecotools coupon a $1.50 neutrogena coupon that does not have a date on it like the other ones, but says only valid in RA.
    Do you think we can use that coupon next week for this deal?

    • Shannon

      @Norma,
      I think that Neutrogena is a manufacturer.

  • Amanda

    Is this for any neutrogena product or just the item pictured?

  • Bren

    I’m going to try this and see if it works. It says the $50 has to be after any and all coupons are used, so we’ll see if it goes through for me. I’m going to do it on Sunday and put my receipt right in, so I should know within a few days of Sunday whether it works or not. I’ll keep you updated.

  • Krissi

    When you try for the skincare rebate, do they keep a tally of how much you have spent? So when you reach $50, you just automatically bump up to the $25 level? Or does it have to all be in the same transaction? Also, is the $50 before coupons? On the bonus rebate explanation it says,”rebate based on actual price paid (after any and all coupons are used)”

    • Shannon

      @Krissi,

      it will automatically happen and the rebate has went thru for many with it being after coupons

  • Jillian

    Can’t wait til Sunday! Thanks Shannon!

  • Myra

    I don’t see the $30.00 SCR in my July 2010 Rebate Directory. What number is it?
