UPDATE: This scenario works! See my post here.

I am working on Rite Aid deals for next week and spotted this deal.

This would be one HUGE moneymaker if you had the coupons and stock at your Rite Aid.  Also, YMMV with using BOGO coupons on a BOGO sale.  This is good next week, June 28th.

There are coupons coming out this week for BOGO Stayfree. They are also on sale at Rite Aid BOGO. There is also a $25.00 gift card wyb $50.00 worth of select product.

You would need to do two transactions:

Transaction #1

Buy 10 Stayfree Pads @ $3.99 BOGO

Buy 2 Band Adhesive Antibotic $4.49 BOGO

Buy1 Listerine Blue Agent $4.49

Total $28.93 after BOGO discount

Use-5 BOGO Coupons for Stayfree

Use 2 $1.00/1 Band Aid Coupons from 04/26 RP

Use $1.00/1 Listerine Agent Cool printable

Use $5.00/$25.00 printable

Total Oop:  $.98

Then do this transaction:

Buy 12 Stayfree $3.99 BOGO

Buy 1 Degree Clinical Strength $6.99

Use 6 BOGO Stayfree coupons

Use $2.00/1 printable for Degree

Use $5.00/$25.00 Rite Aid

Total OOP $.01

Get back

$25.00 Rite Aid Gift Card

$5.00 Degree Clinical SCR

$1.0o Agent Blue Listerine SCR

Almost a $30.00 MM!

Does anyone see any holes in this scenario? If so, please post it in the comments! There are many other scenarios that will work for this, I am going to post several other later in the week.

where are the bogo coupons coming out?? Is it possible to get that many?? other than that, quick glance looks good.

  2. Shannon says:

    Lynn,

    They come out on Sunday.
As for is it possible to get that many coupons or Stayfree at the store.
My Rite aid today had a huge stock, talking hundreds. As far as coupons go, I buy the extras I need. It is a lot of stayfree – I have two sisters so split between us and my mom its only 6 packs a piece.

    • lynn says:

Shannon – I have never bought before – afraid they won’t come on time – do youuse coupon clippers or who?? THANKS for your help!!!

    • lynn says:

Oh ya – also I just remembered that I am not sure if it is rite aid policy or just the cashier I used for the candy BOGO – she said had to buy in groups of 4 – 2 you pay, 2 free, then use 1 BOGO coupon – so pay for 1 get 3 free. She said since the other 2 are free, you are not really “buying” them. I will look to see if I can find their policy posted somewhere!

      • Shannon says:

        Lynn,

        Thats not their policy actually.

I use BOGOs on BOGOs frequently as do many others. That is why I said YMMV on BOGO coupons with BOGO sales. I don’t argue with a cashier though. I will just take my coupons and come back another time. I always run things by the manager at my Rite Aid before I do them as well.

Urg… bad week to go on vacation. I will miss two weeks of RiteAid deals. Ok…. now I know I have a problem. I am Kelly and I have a RiteAid addiction!

  4. Stacie says:

I confess, I am lost. I do not understand how the 5 BOGO coupons apply to the five stayfree that you are buying. I thought that when you have a BOGO on a BOGO, you basically pay for one and get two free. Can you clarify??

    • Shannon says:

      Stacie,

Buy1 Get 1 Free coupons on a Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale are a YMMV thing.
However, this is how it would work at the store:

You take 2 the register. The store is giving you one and the coupon is your tender for the other. So the store will be paid for the coupon item by the manufacturer. You will find that many stores allow this. Sometimes a particular cashier will say no, but I have spoke with the manager at both my CVS, Rite Aid and grocery stores, and they all say it is totally permissible. You will find these scenarios on many frugal blogs. But most do say Your Mileage May Vary or YMMV because many store managers have the right to override policies.

      So to summarize:
When purchasing a BOGO item you can use a BOGO coupon on the item. When an item is on sale for buy one, get one free and the customer has a buy one get one free coupon for that same product, the coupon will be accepted and both items will essentially become free (plus any applicable sales tax).

I hope that helps Stacie. Please email me if I can be of any further assistance.

Are the Stayfree deals good on pantyliners as well or just on pads?
