You may need an advanced degree in Math to actually do this upcoming scenario. It might be easier for you to head over to CVS next week. However, if you are a Rite Aid shopper and need diapers – here is a deal, starting 9/18.
First, a couple reminders/assumptions for scenario #1.
- You can only use 4 like coupons per transaction.
- You will receive a $10.00 UPR wyb $30.00. You will receive a $10.00 UPR wyb $50 and you wil receive a $20 UPR wyb $70.
- The deal will track.
Scenario #1 – this is splitting it into three transactions and presumes the reminders above are true.
Transaction #1
Buy (3) Huggies Diapers $29.97
Buy (1) Kleenex $2.00
Total $31.97
use (3) $1.50/1 Huggies Diapers in 9/11 SS

I did scenario #1 today and it worked great. Everything went very smoothly and it is not as complicated as it sounds. I did NOT wait in b/w transactions – I did all 2 transactions back to back and it turned out fine.
Shannon says
NICE! Love cheap diapers!
Cristina says
Yeah, I asked the same q on another forum and I think that because the diaper is a sale price, you don’t get the wellness discount, so it shouldn’t affect the deal. Also, does anyone know if you have to wait between transactions? If so, how long? I’d rather not wait if it’s not necessary b/c I’ll have 2 toddlers in tow!
Shannon says
Cristina, the only way the wellness would apply is if the discount of the wellness is less than the sale price.
Cristina says
Ahhh! Thank you – very helpful. I’ve been couponing at Rite Aid for a year now and have always wondered how that works!
Cristina says
Does the rite aid 10% or 20% wellness discount affect these scenarios?
kelly C says
I was wondering this myself- but if these deals are going through then it must not- you have to figure that everyone on here has the wellness discount…
zina says
I did #1 and it worked exactly as noted except it printed a $20 and a $10 on the third transaction. Still cant figure out why that happened but it made it an even better deal.
Elizabeth H. says
My first 2 transactions went exactly as stated in Senario #1, but then the third transaction only printed a $10 instead of a $20 and it my total didn’t change for tracking. It was $51.95 after the first transaction and it stayed that way after the secone one. They gave me another $10 as a gift card because they couldn’t figure out why it didn’t print $20
Nghe says
My 3rd transaction didn’t even give a total at bottom of receipt and no 20+up was printed for this transaction. I have to go back to store tomorrow and talk to the manager about this :(
Shannon says
Try purchasing another item to see if it prints.
kim says
Did the 1st senerio work???
Brooke says
Yes!! Scenario 1 works great! Watch for Cars2 codes–I earned enough points for another $10 visa gift card!
Also–if you decide to do in all one transaction, the UPRs will print as two $10s and 1 $20 (which is better than $40!)
They have the standard 2 week expiration date
Jeannette Sparr says
The Huggies/Pampers are advertised as 2 for $18 Jumbo packs of all sizes, not just Slip-Ons. The sale runs for one week.
Jared says
i think ill do this deal, but ill be using $3 huggies coupons instead
Jared says
how did someone in california do this deal today if it doesn’t start until 9/18?
Shannon says
Jared, S. Cali starts friday.
Debbie says
This diaper deal sounds awesome….question….you said if you send $50 you get $10up…why does the flyer you are showing say $20 for $50 spent???
Shannon says
Its $20 for $50 – which would be cumulative for a total of $40 maximum when you get $70.
You are not getting $10, $20 and $40.
You get $10 for spending $30. So when you get to $50., you would only get $10 more. (you receive $10 in the first transaction)
If you did one transaction, you would get $20 if you spent $50.
Debbie says
Thank you :) I now understand!
shelli says
@Rachel I have no idea what your deals mean. I know you are trying to abbreviate but can you make it a little longer so it’s readily understandable?
Emily W says
I’m in California and did the diaper deal this morning in 3 transactions (Scenario #1). It worked out perfectly! Now I’m just hoping for some good SCR deals to use my $20 UPR on next week. =)
Jillian says
Did you do them all consecutively? Or did you wait a while in between transactions?
Kara says
Is this just for one week or multiple weeks?
Jenna says
I am so hoping for the first to work, but the second would be fine also. We will be getting a brand new baby boy in mid December. (Our adopted daughters biological mother got herself pregnant again, even after a judge warned her not too). So while we are excited, this deal will help with the unexpected expense. We had just gotton rid of all our baby stuff. Then I plan on doing CVS because te slip-on diapers in size 3 work just like Pull-ups on my youngest. So I am super excited about both deals next week.
rachel says
so the sale price is 9.50? I can’t make it out. I ma trying to figure out if amazon would be better I only have one up for next week `12 of mine didn’t print the other day sigh. Here are some good deals though from looking at the ad Arm and hammer bogo 10 up on 20
0ne up on Revlon bogo limit 4
6-4up-1man=1 limit one infusium 23
Trident 3 for fifty cents 3/3-1man-1u-50 vv
Bogo finish and renuzit there is a video value and coupon out
Crest complete 3-2u-2man=1mm limit 2
Pam says
This deal includes Pullups, so there are some $2 coupons that could be used to make this a great deal.
Stacie says
I live in a small rural community and use RA all the time, because that is all we have. I am excited about this deal. I no longer have kids in diapers, but I am thinkin baby pantry donation!!!!
Sunny says
Michelle, I totally agree with you. I’ve pretty much stopped going to RA because I hate that their UPs expire so soon. Stock is so limited and the deals just don’t seem that great. I do so much better at CVS so I’m focusing on that.
Lori says
Couldn’t you use the $3 Huggies Slip On diaper coupons from last Sundays’ paper? That would make this deal even better.
Shannon says
Lori, actually rite aid has not added these across the board , so if you wanted to you can use it, but many stores dont have them .
Michelle says
I use to be a die hard Rite Aid shopper but anymore it’s just not worth it. I have $8 in UPR expiring this week and there is nothing really great this week to buy to roll them. I think I will just go in this and spend them and that will be my last trip there. I’m expecting a baby in 2 weeks and this diaper deal isn’t even tempting me. It just isn’t worth the headache. I will be doing the CVS deal instead.
Pauline says
I totally agree with you, Riteaid is failing us, since they stopped the survey coupons and all, they have nothing to offer. My daughter is expecting in two weeks too.Have a safe, healthy delivery.
Mel says
I’m hoping someone from California will try it when their ad starts early and let us know so we can adjust our scenarios! And I totAlly agree…you need to be serious into math for this one! I’m so geeky, I love sitting here and figuring out the numbers!
Zina Smith says
Is this next week at rite aid? Starting on Sept 18th?
Shannon says
yes next week.
