Back to School Deals
I forgot about the new barcodes but my Reach coupon was from a couple months back and it expires 08/08/11 so don’t think that had a new barcode. The 2 Clean & Clear coupons I printed online and I’m not sure if those have the new barcodes or not. I don’t know the difference.
Went to RA yesterday and tried to buy (2) Clean & Clear face wash and (2) Reach toothbrushes. I had (2) $2 off RA in-ad coupons for the Clean & Clear, (2) $2 man. coupons for any Clean & Clear product, (2) Reach $1 off vv and (1) $2 off any 2 Reach toothbrushes man. coupon. The in-ad coupon and vv’s went through but the man. coupons beeped so cashier said I can only use 1 coupon per item. I explained you can use a store coupon or vv and man. coupon per item. I thought maybe the order they were scanned had anything to do with it so she voided the transaction, rang it up again and tried the man. coupons first and they all beeped. She looked at them carefully and said she could override the man. coupons for me but said she was not going to scan the store coupon or vv’s cause they all say man. coupon. She wasn’t even going to attempt to do it to see if it worked. She was just like RA has made a lot of changes so I can only take the store coupon and vv or the man coupons but not both. I ended up not taking the items since I was not allowed to use all the coupons. I was so frustrated cause I’ve used vv and man. coupons before on 1 item. I don’t know why the coupons beeped. RA is frustrating me. Argghh!
Are you sure they didnt have the new barcodes — as far as I know rite aid is still having problems scanning the new barcodes.
some things I grabbed today (I have a 10% wellness discount):
– there was a “get a free hershey’s candy WYB 1 20oz diet coke” Q on the freezer door where the coke was. I got a diet coke, used the $1 off diet coke VV coupon from last month so I got both basically for 50cents!
– I used the $1 off skintimate VV and a $.75 online Q on the 2.75 ov size (no size restrictions on either coupon). paid $.04 after Q’s.
– trident gum rang up $1 each (not $1 each wyb 3), so I bought 2 of the ‘onsale’ ones, and 1 trident layers for 1.34. Used the $2 off wyb 3 MQ, and the $.50 off layers VV coupon- so I got 3 packs for $.84.
I got a $3 off revlon nail enamel Q from a riteaid email last week- so I bought 2 (one was top speed) since they were B1G50%. Used the $3 RA Q and a $2 off top speed VV Q from this month, plus (2) $1 MQ from the newspapers. so, they were $.20 each after Q’s!
I also bought my hydrogen peroxide to get my $2 Q start rollin them, lol!

Guess I need another computer. I must have printed them for the last deal like this and now I can’t get them again. Stink. I missed that deal and was hoping to do this one. Pretty sure I threw away the other coupons because they expired.

Tonight I went to Rite Aide to get a few things. I went to check out and I handed the cashier a 3 off of 15 and she told me that I needed to spend 2 more dollars for it to count but I was already at 16. I asked why and she said she wasn’t sure. I found something to add but was curious if this has happened to anyone else.

There is something weird going on with the $3.00/$15.00 coupons.
I had issues with one last week because of tax on the item – it would not ring the $3/$15 because it would leave me paying less than the total tax on a taxable item.
I just visited the store today, they informed me that the $3 off $15 promotion has ended. I tried the survey with one of my older rects and it did not print the coupon. What a shame this was a great deal!
That may be because your subtotal has to be $15, before tax.
Reset recently done in haircare. Some conair poducts are clearenced at 50 percent off. Combine that with the spend 10 get 5up.
