Ok, I bought 12 bags of candy at Rite Aid today for $7 total!! (0.58 per bag!). I did the Hershey’s promo and the non-Hershey’s candy promo (didn’t even know til I got in the store that there were 2 different promos!):
(4) M&Ms + (1) Butterfinger + (1) Crunch = $15
-(2) $1/2 Mars M&Ms or Dove (RP 8/28)
-(1) $1/2 Nestle Halloween candy (RP 10/16)
-(2) $1/2 M&Ms video values (sept & oct??) I had 2 different ones.
-(1) $1/2 Nestle Halloween candy VV
Pay: $9, get $5 wyb $15 UPR = $4 (woot!)
(3) Reeses + (1) Kit Kat + (1) Almond Joy + (1) Hershey’s = $15

So, are you saying that the deals work for both Fun Size Mar’s and Hershey’s chocolate? So if I buy 6 bags, a mix of Mars and Hershey’s, I would get the $5 UP+ rewards? I thought the circular states that you could work on the Fun Size chocolate excludes Hershey’s. But it seem that you did get the $5 UP+ reward when you did the Hershey’s too.
There are two different deals. The one on the front cover is for fun size excluding Hershey but on page 3 I think, there is another $5 UPR when you buy Hershey. So you’d either have to stick with either Hershey or non-Hershey or do two sets. I followed Lissa’s advice and did the following:
Hershey Deal:

I had to do a quick run to Giant today, but as I ran in I saw that they had the fun size candy for 5 for 10, anyone else see this deal?
The one day sale at Krogers was today.
Thanks Holly!! I have two $1.50/3 Hershey’s coupons from last weeks SS. Combined with the VV and UP is a great deal. 6 bags for $5.00. .83 cents a bag!!!!!
At Rite Aid, I did the deal scenario above, but in addition, I used the $1 off 2 video value coupon for M&M’s, which brought the cost down to $1 per bag at the end. In addition, I did the Hershey’s promotion at Rite Aid for the Fun Size bags by using a $1.50 off 3 manufacturer coupon in this past week’s coupon insert, one $1.00 off 3 manufacturer coupon in a different coupon insert a couple weeks ago, a $1 off 2 video value coupon for Kit Kats and a $1 off 2 video value coupon for Reese’s. This brought the cost down to $5.50 for the 6 bags in the end. I thought those were both great deals!
