Thanks for the breakdown! But I was just wondering how you could use (4) peelies and (2) bogos in one transaction? They told me only.1 manufacturer coupon per transaction.
Andrea says
They are incorrect. You can use 1 manufacturer coupon per item. You might want to print their policy and take it with you just in case. From their policy:
“Q. Does CVS/pharmacy allow more than 1 coupon to be used per transaction?
A. Yes. CVS/pharmacy allows ONE CVS/pharmacy and ONE third party manufacturer coupon per item. A transaction is defined as the entirety of purchases on a single receipt. ExtraBucks® Rewards coupons can be applied toward the final cost. Normal exclusions apply. See the bottom of the ExtraBucks® Rewards coupon for details.
Note: Coupons cannot be applied to a “free” item

Hi I’m new at couponing. I tried to do a deal today for the Pantene I got six bottles gave the cashier 3 bogo coupons and 6$1peelies but she said I could not combine them. Do stores vary or should the policy be the same at all CBS stores. Your input would be a great help I’m starting but getting discouraged.
Andrea says
The problem was that you are using 9 coupons for 6 items. Unless one of those was a CVS coupon, they wouldn’t accept them. Think of it like this, 1 BOGO coupon is for 2 items, so you’d be able to use one BOGO coupon for every 2 Pantene you buy because the coupon “attaches” to both of those items. So then for 6 Pantene, you could use 3 BOGO coupons ONLY because the 3 coupons “attach” to 6 items. If you try and use the $1/1 coupons, they have no Pantene to attach to because the ones for the BOGO coupon already attached to the ones you bought and you can only use 1 manufacturer coupon per item.

Ok thanks I will continue to follow the websites so I can get the hang of it.

I got a $3 off of $15 hair care CVS coupon. Not as good as $5 of of $20, but it worked for me!

I didn’t get the CVS hair care coupon, I think CVS is tired of me shopping there because they are really rationing their coupons now.
However, the great thing that I have found is that lately the items on clearance are producing ECB’s. For example, today I bought over 15.00 worth of Dove body wash at 50% off and I was surprised with a 5.00 ECB and another 2.00 ECB for dial I think. There is a lot of clearance on body wash and today at my local CVS, an employee with putting up tags for 75% off some items.

Bummer about the crt :-( but yay for surprise clearance extra bucks!

Why, you’re welcome!
