If you are heading to CVS, be on the look out for CVS Supreme Diapers on Clearance. Reader Nicki found them for just $2.22 each. The diapers are regularly priced at $8.89, but after 75% clearance they are just $2.22.

If anyone has any packages of CVS brand diapers size 18 -26 pounds – with a picture of a baby in a blue t-shirt crawling, please let me know. It’s my grandson and they discontinued the diapers before I was able to buy some. (For the picture of him).
Thanks!

I scored 6 packs of cvs diapers for 2.22 each, pacifier 2 packs for 1.25, butt paste 1.52, johnsons baby shampoo 1.56, and about 30 other baby items at 75% off. I did not see any huggies clearanced at my CVS but I am sure I missed them. I also got a $2 off 2 deodorants from the kiosk and scored 2 free arm and hammer mens deodorant.

I got the huggies lil movers jean edition for size 5 for $3.12 each and the huggies overnites size 4 for $3.24 each. Both had higher shelf tags but i scanned them at the red machine and they showed a lower price. HTH.

Oh, also used the huggies coupons from the SS 6/17 insert to make it a really good deal.

I had same concern as Kate w/ the generic diapers…I did pick up 2 packs of Huggies Overnites for $3.24 each though plus used $2 & $1.50 coupons from Sundays paper. Also saw bottles of Similac formula clearanced to $2.62 so bought 2 & used one of the $5 coupons they send in the mail to get them for 12 cents each :)

but do the diapers hold up well? Im all about saving but if im going thru diapers left and and changing more often then i might as well pay a little more that are more durable.

I don’t recommend them. I’m sure they work for some, but they’ve performed poorly for my two boys (now almost 3.5 and 22 months). I usually stock up on Huggies when deals roll around and have found that many other store brands (ie, Rite Aid, Target) work really well when I can’t get Huggies. When shopping last year with my 2-year-old niece who was wearing the CVS brand, we had an awful accident because the urine just came right out and soaked her pants. (I will say that I haven’t purchased them in over 1 year, so if they’ve changed them since then, my experience wouldn’t apply.)

You are correct that these diapers are cheap and leaks very fast. When I called the company to complain and see if they can either refund my money or send me some coupons, which I didn’t want but felt that they can’t get away with selling merchadise that is of poor quality the representatives act like they have an attitude. Do yourself a favor and stick with Pampers or Huggies and leave these cheap diapers alone. Your child will thank you. Your money will be well spent if you buy good quality.

The CVS supremes worked well for us and we are a Huggies family. The regular ones were cheaper and I didn’t like tose the one time we bought a pack in an emergency.

I agree the Supremes work well with no leaks but the regular CVS brand doesnt hold well at all.

The jumbo pack of 5 wipes were also the same price. All that was left on the shelf was one of each for me. But I am happy with that! Got $3 coupon for next time!
