That is fantastic! I will be doing a very similar transaction but will add Oil of Olay ($3 magic coupon machine + manufactuar + 25% off) and gillette disposables and of course the 3 free $.99 cards and pumpkin carving kit!

I just used this coupon today. I did one big transaction, the sale items it doesn’t take the 25% off for example I bought the VO5 shampoos that were one sale for .75 But it did take off on the items that were not on sale but had extra bucks like the Revlon beauty tools. So it took off 25% on those plus I still got my 5 extra bucks!

The 25% off coupon specifically says that it won’t work on sale items, it will only work on regular price items. You can do well with them because sometimes the items that have ECBs are regular price. You can use the 25% off along with a coupon for the item and get the ECB also. I’m also receiving a $10.00 off 50.00 on a daily basis for over a week now so that also works out well.

Yep, I had the same problem. No actual value to this coupon even with full price items for which you receive ECBs. I usually love CVS, but this was a HUGE disappointment especially after getting some great deals with WAGS friends and family 15% off.

      Terri,

I actually did fantastic with the 25% coupon. My total was $129, got $26 deducted from the 25% off coupon and with all my other coupons, my bill came down to $27 and got back $58 in ECB. I wish I had one every week. For instance, the John Frieda deal was spend $20 and get $10 back. Since the John Frieda items were not on “sale”, the coupon took off the 25% off for all the John Frieda items since it was regular price plus I used $2 coupons for each John Frieda and I got $10 ECB back. I got all the John Frieda for free. I did the same thing with the Glade deal. I scored 6 candles for $2. Some of the ECB items are on sale, but look for the ones that do not mention a sale, but yet still produce the ECB. I purchased Arm and Hammer dryer sheets BOGO, Suavitel BOGO, had a coupon for each plus got 25% off the one item I paid for and got the other items for free. I also needed milk and got 25% off that. Sorry to keep going, but double check your flyer bc these % coupons can actually be a good thing.

So what items can we use these 25% coupons on? I tried to use one of these and even though it scanned I realized later that it never took the 25% off. I did use it with other CVS coupons and there were items that had ECB deals. The fine print on the coupon states not valid on sale items. Also if we can only use it on full price items then it almost doesn’t seem worth it since CVS’s regular prices are way overpriced.
