First, the associate hassled me about not getting two Reeses free when I had a BOGO coupon and they have a BOGO sale. Then, she told me she was doing me a favor for taking my $1 off Wheat Thins coupon when it was only on sale for .99. She called over a manager who just told her to mark it down to .99. Then it came to the big finale, the $5 off $25. Both the associate and the manager told me they are supposed to take it off after coupons. She told me they had a meeting and referred me to the sign in front of the register. It clearly stated the BOGO policy or two free AND $5 off $25 PRIOR TO other man coupons. I even got out my blackberry and looked up prior for the manager. Unbelievable. Corporate tries to help out couponers, but it can't count on its people to do a good job. I felt like I was a theif too! Not a friendly environment but some good deals so I try but I think that I will stop fighting at some point. I am glad to see that this is not just a problem for me.
