Amazon has a great deal on the KitchenAid Artisan 5-Quart Stand Mixers. Right now it is just $218.69, with a $30.00 rebate, making it $188.69. The white is the least expensive, however, others are available with the rebate. Just be sure to check the price and make sure the rebate is listed underneath of the price.

This is the mixer that I recently purchased, and it totally rocks. I traded up from my 4 quart mixer and I absolutely love it.

    I have an older model of this in majestic yellow, Really fabulous mixer–I make tons of cookies with it. FYI, if the beater is anodized aluminum (dull metal), it isn’t dishwasher safe. KitchenAid sells coated ones that you can put in the dishwasher though.
