My CVS store was out of the AZO’s. When I asked for a raincheck, I was told they could not give me one because it did not have an event code. Is that true that I can not get rainchecks on the monthly deals?
jessica says
Also it is not on the ad, but in my area (boston) all cvs are giving out free CVS soda (buy one for one dollar, get one ecb)
Catherine says
I just wanted to clue people in on something I discovered a few weeks ago. My CVS is notoriously out of stock on items, especially when I can’t make it to the store on Sunday or Monday, so I get a LOT of rainchecks. When I get a rain check, first I try to use it before the coupon I have paired with it expires, if that doesn’t work, I wait for ANOTHER sale on that item. This week I have a softsoap body wash raincheck to use which will pair with the bogo sale. I’ll get one at the raincheck-sale price, one for free with the current deal and then the ECB from the raincheck as well. I’ve done this multiple times and the cashiers say it is OK (at my stores at least) because the computer takes both deals and combines them.
Liz says
@Catherine, How do you get ECB from the raincheck?
Catherine says
@Liz,
If the Raincheck deal had an ECB, there is a spot on the Raincheck that says how many ECBs there should be. The checker has to print it out separately from the full transaction. They even scan my CVS card again. Our store is pretty little and I have a feeling there are a lot of couponers in our area, so I get a LOT of rainchecks. You can even get a raincheck if the flavor/color/style you want is out of stock.
liz says
@Catherine, Thanks so much for the info. I guess my store’s cashier wasn’t aware of that since I asked him about it yesterday and he said the ECB doesn’t carry over. I’ll have to go in to show him next time.
Jenna says
In Courier Journal (KY ) 10/10 SS there is $1/1 Q for Colgate Total
Kristy says
The Azo worked for me. It is in the feminine care aisle and had signs on it. They are the orange monthly signs, not the red weekly signs.
For the Dial or Tone body wash, how do you calculate the $.49? It is 2/$8, minus extra bucks makes it 2/$6. I actually used 2 $1/1 coupons on Dial Nutriskin, making it 2/$4, or $2 each. Your coupon you have listed makes it $3 each.
Lynn says
Thanks for the deals!!!!
Tara says
I did it this week and the $5ECB spit out no problem.
Marci says
Does anyone have confirmation on the AZO deal? My store has no signs of any extra bucks.
Shannon says
@Marci,
its month long deal.
