My coupons rang up for whatever they value was on the clearance, however, I did have a cashier reduce the amount of my coupon last week on something I bought on clearance. It may be up to the cashier to override the coupon amount. I hope that makes sense!

Do CVS cashier’s typically just take coupons for said amount or has anyone had a cashier reduce the coupon to the price of the item? (Example: These lip glosses are $2.12… will they reduce coupon amount to $2.12?)

I do shop @ Cvs a lot but never had a coupon worth more than the price of the item.

There’s a CVS ECB deal buy $10 of L’Oreal and get $3 ECB. I read another blog that said buy 5 of these lip glosses (to hit $10) and use 5 $3/1 coupons for a $7 Money Maker ($4.40 in overage and $3 ECBs) but ECBs don’t usually print for clearance. Still a good deal though.

The ECB does not print, but Cherry on Top and the Sugar coated plain are ringing up on sale. Other colors are not. Just price check the colors that you like first. The overage is great!

This is not working. ECB are not printing for clearance items. Tried this at about 10 stores on Sunday and Monday. Doesn’t work.
