   How does everyone else read this deal. the add says must buy 4 all others at $1.99. I read this to mean that if I want 8 boxes I would have to do 2 different transactions. Is this how everyone else reads this deal?

     as long as you buy 8 you will be fine. If you bought 9.. the ninth one will be 1.99.

     That is what I thought until I asked a cashier last week on a similar deal where it said you had to buy a certain quantity. She said that as long as I bought in multiples of the stated amount I would receive them all for the sale price. I bought 8 fruit snacks in one transaction tonight. They were $1.99 each until after the fourth box and then it took off a $4.00 fruit snacks discount. It did the same thing for the second set of 4. So I got them all for $.99 each before coupons.
