My little nephew Jace, age 2, was willing to be our photo subject. He is totally adorable, but as an added bonus he is a ham.
We called about a week in advance to schedule our appointment. We arrived at 1:00 and the photographer was ready for us. She asked us if we had anything special in mind or if we had any props.
The photographer asked Jace if he was ready to play. Of course he was! She just let him play while she took snapped away. She was even on the floor with him. He thought he was just playing and didn’t even care about the camera.
The photo shoot took about 15 minutes total, which is really great for a two year old. Our digital photos were ready for us to review in about 10 minutes. We looked at the photos on the big screen and it was really hard to narrow it down to just three we were going to choose! If you can’t choose, you can purchase a high resolution disk so that you can print your photos anywhere. Portrait Reward Members can have the portraits stored at the Picture People to purchase at a later time.
We chose our three photo sheets, (1) 10×13 for Mom & Dad, 4×6 for Aunties, and (1) 8×10 for Grandmom & Grandpop, our photographer had our photos ready to go in minutes.
The Picture People are ready for children, they have some activites for the kids while we were waiting for the photos. Jace was given crayons and coloring pages, so we were able to choose the photos. They also had blocks for him to play with and even some Easter Eggs for the kids.
Our entire session, in and out with the photos, was one hour. Jace and Mom were both happy.
Picture People is a national portrait chain with over 140 locations and there’s sure to be one you! Be sure to print your 20% off Professional Portraits Coupon to save!

We have been to Picture People 4 times now (two diff locations) and have never had a quick experience like you! We’ve always had appointments and have always been delayed (as much an hour or two) and to view our pics, took even longer (they even “lost” half of our pics while editing them and we had to make the kids sit through pics again)! We joined their membership club on our first visit and so kept going back to get the benefits that we had paid for. Our pics have been cute, but not worth the hassle. I’d love to know which location you went to b/c we could have maybe avoided some aggravation!!
