Just received notice that rebate will NOT be honored because “Handwritten UPC was not submitted”. Do not understand what this means and was careful to include ALL required paperwork with rebate request, none of which was returned to me. Please explain this to me. Have been a loyal Loreal user for 35 years and this really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Spent extra money to achieve rebate guidelines and feel ripped off, product is ok but this experience will steer me towards trying other (NON loreal) products. Please reply
I didn’t do this particular rebate, but did it have a place you were supposed to write down the UPC numbers from the product(s) ? Did you do it correctly?
You should get out the copies you retained of everything you submitted and contact them immediately*. Did you notice have a phone number on it? If not you should contact Loreal at their number and go from there.
(*Instead of keeping hard copies most people now just save all the documents as a PDF. If this is the case just open your PDF file and have it open when calling.)
Had no idea that the refusal of my rebate would make me so angry. Every day when I reach for a loreal product I get angrier. You guys really dropped the ball on this offer. Will not re purchase any loreal products when mine are gone. Shame really, have been with loreal over 25 years. Sounds silly but I think you need to know how i feel. This has opened me up to a whole new world of skin and hair products by your competitors.
Received card also that mine would not be honored, called loreal, they would do nothing!! Packed it all up and returned to Rite Aid, got my money back and loreal has lost my business.
