I’m confused, so if you have five simplait they take off .30 how many times?
The Kroger I now shop at in Texas (Houston area) NEVER doubles.
When I lived in Colorado-they ALWAYS doubled up to .50, so I am guessing it is according to region? Or maybe the whim of the store manager?

Where are you located that Kroger does not double? Most Kroger stores double up to atleast $.50. Are you shopping at Kroger or an affiliate?
If Kroger has it .50 and coupons are .30 off wouldn’t that mean they are .20?
Kroger doubles coupons, so it would make them free :)
