The Kroger in our area does not accept internet coupons, period. Many times the internet coupons do not print out correctly ( which you don’t know until after you have printed them and used up your ink) and the stores that do accept internet coupons will not accept them because the scanners will not read the bar codes ( and my printer is a very good one). The stores in our area do not double coupons, and only match the competitiors prices/offers in a small geographic area. I have better luck contacting the manufacturers directly and asking them to send me their coupons directly. For other products, I have to buy either the store brands or the least expensive brand on the shelf, whichever is cheapest. Can’t use shopper cards at Wal-Mart either, which where I am is Wal-Mart land. Any other type of bargain discount stores are too far away to travel to, usually in bad neighborhoods, and carry damaged or expired products.
