CVS: Possible 25% Coupon & $10 off $50 Coupon

Here are two deal from CVS to check for. If you are signed up for CVS email offers, check to see if you received a 25% off coupon valid through Sunday 1/27.

One thing to keep in mind… If you use the 25% off coupons, then pay with ECB’s, you will not get 25% off on the amount that was paid for with ECB’s. Example, if your total is $100 and you pay with $80 ECB, you will only get 25% off of $20.

Can anyone please explain to me on what items I can use the 25% off on? I know it cannot be used on sales but what are promotional items? Are those the items that come with the ebc rewards? i.e. the bounty or charmin on this week’s advertisement?

  Promotional items are specifically tagged as “sale.” They do not necessarily include the EB items. For example, starting Sunday, if you buy $10 worth of Physician’s Formula cosmetics, you get $7 EB. However, the items themselves are full price, so you CAN use your 25% coupon (so, for example, buy mascara at $10.79, which triggers the EB, plus the 25% off means you pay $1.09 total!)
  
  Incidentally, I have found that the 25% DOES work on clearance items– something about the way those go into the computer must make it think that they’re not ‘sale.’ There are still some good end-of-year clearance items out there (like Revlon polish for $1.62), so keep an eye out for those!

I got the 25% off coupon yesterday and the $10 off $50 on Tuesday which I used to get $108 worth of things including 2 gallons of milk for $3.40:) good week at Cvs for me!!
