I can confirm that only 4 doublers may be used per bonuscard number scanned *unless you use a courtesy card but then you won’t get catalinas or extra rewards points* and it has to be with a $15 minimum purchase without state regulated items included into the total before coupons and bonus buy savings. The computer will ask to be overridden in order to process the order. Being overridden for this constitutes as fraud ( to really only the store but ya know) *Checkout Coach at GIANT/MARTIN’s Brookhaven, Pa
I mean if you aren’t a legit couponer following the rules of manufacturer and store than sure give it a whirl, maybe you’ll find a dumb cashier to put this through for you, but I personally turn away tons of people attempting coupon fraud this way. The store won’t keep putting them out if its constantly being taken advantage of.

Danielle,
I have asked this question to 4 separate managers at 4 separate stores and they all say it is 4 per person per transaction. I am all for following rules but I wish the stores would be consistent. I had a long conversation with a corporate employee about the coupon policy and Giant really does have one of the vaguest, weakest policies out there (see weis for the differences). Some stores make you have $15 before coupons, some make you have $15 after coupons but before doublers. Some make you have $15 after doublers and all coupons. I guess I feel as a consumer and someone who also works with many brands and stores — you cannot call it fraud if you don’t have consistent policies – even managers who say – just do two separate transactions. Just my thoughts on the subject.

Here are my scenarios for the Unilever deal:
Trans 1:
2 Wishbone dressings $4
2 Ragu $5
2 Skippy pb $6.98
Total before coupons: $15.98
-2 $1/1 Wishbone
-1 $1/2 Ragu
-1 $1/2 Skippy
-4 $1 doublers
-$4 instant savings
Total: $3.98 for 6 items!
Trans 2:
3 Suave b.w $5.37
2 Lipton tea bags $6.98
2 Wishbone dressings $4
Total before coupons: $16.35
-B2G1 Suave (should be $1.79 but could be up to $3)
-1 $1/2 Lipton
-1 $1/2 Wishbone (I’m out of $1/1, if you have others, use them to maximize the deal)
-2 $1 doublers
-$4 instant savings
Total after coupons: 6.56 for 7 items

Caroline,
Thanks for the scenario – these are great – they are valid today right?

shannon,
I am a little confused about Carolines scenario. I called two of my local giants in mechanicsburg, pa and they told me that in order to use my doublers that my total has to be a min. of $15 after coupons and doublers. But I have seen that a bunch of people have got their total below that after coupons and doublers. The lady I spoke with said that here was no possible way, and that she would like to see anyone try because its not possilbe. I wanted to do a similar deal but I am unsure if should. Any advice would be great. Thanks
Shannon says
Tiffany,
It is YMMV and I have seen it go both ways.
Shannon says
PS I would argue that a coupon is NOT a discount but you know.
