    What is beef base? Can I just ommit that, pretty sure that isn’t legal for me to have on GAPS. I just want to make sure it won’t have a huge effect on the final outcome. Thanks

    I live alone but this looks amazing. Would leftovers be freezer safe? Or would that ruin the vegetables after thawed?

    You can skip the balsamic and just use a little apple cider vinegar or a little worcestershire sauce. Its just to deepen the flavor and caramelize the veggies a little more.

    So is it worth it for me to go out and buy balsamic vinegar if I don’t have it on hand? Could you substitute apple cider vinegar or something? Or just leave that out? Or use water in its place? Never used balsamic vinegar before so I don’t know what it’s like.

    Looks great, love all the photos. I’d love to see more crockpot recipes, as the mother of a 2 month old it’s so much easier to start dinner during nap time, instead of waiting for my husband to come home.

    It just means add all seasonings up to the vinegar. The vinegar is added in the next step. And yes, you can make it without the peppers!
