So the big game is over, and we have a winner. (Sorry to my fellow Eagles fans, may next year). Sometimes the best laid plans, don’t go the way they should. The Patriots were totally supposed to win, and my family was supposed to have a fantastic food spread. Neither of these things happened!
Even though this big game is over, there are more big games right around the corner (March Madness Anyone?). Perhaps you have a big basketball game coming up for your own little one. Maybe you are preparing for a big party. Here are some tips to make your party planning a little easier.
1. Put your slow cooker to work for your main dishes. Make dishes like meatballs, pork bbq or chili.
2.Buy premade appetizers that you can just pop in the oven.
3. Have your husband, mom, friends, kids or dog (anyone but you) do the dishes and cleanup – before and after.
4. Have friends bring desserts and beverages – you don’t have to do it all alone.
5. Have disposable containers ready for leftovers. Keep space in the refrigerator for leftovers.
