Walgreens has great deals but you have to find one that has good management. I had bad experiences at several Walgreens and now I only go to 3 of them in my area. Some managers tend to make up their own policies. Once I called customer service from a store and had customer service talk to one of the employees who was pretending to be a manager when I had an issue at the store.
A while ago, I did Secret Shopping for Walgreens because customer service was so poor. They are slacking off again because they are not being audited anymore. If coorporate receives a lot of complaints they will restart the secret shopper program again and that will improve customer service.

Anyone headed to the BUTLER,PA Walgreens – don’t waste your time. Went in today to get the Right Guard body wash that was bogo with my bogo coupon. I was told by the clerk that their manager told them “via email” they were to sell the second body wash at half off – they were not honoring the coupon/sale ad. When I ashed her why as this was against Walgreen’s coupon policy she told me the back of the sale ad states the manager has the right do do so. Well, I read that with a fine tooth comb and it does not state any such thing. I asked her where this was in writing and why was it not posted for customers to know and she could not answer me – told me to call 1-800 Walgreens. I did. Didn’t really get answers from them either. Shame on you Walgreens – what poor customer service. You lure customers in with a sale ad only to change it to suit your rules?? No thanks – that was my last trip to this store. I will never recommend another patient to Walgreens again and I see at least 40 a day. There are too many places to fill prescriptions in Butler, PA that actually treat you with respect. Take your Walgreens ad to Walmart or Target to price match. Walgreens isn’t worth the aggravation.

that is why they are under a federal lawsuit right now because of their pricing practices…ha……guess it’s well deserved.
