Leanne says
I don’t know if anyone else is confused but I am I just called 3 different stores and they all said they are not opening until 4am Friday morning but their black fri day says they are opening at 10pm Thursday. Can anyone clarify?

I was at Walmart last year for Black Friday (first time) and it wasn’t as bad as I had prepared myself for.
I’m thinking about doing it online this year but I’m worried about all the traffic and my computer slowing down and then missing out on the deals. Anyone had any experience doing BF online?
Thanks

Does anyone see the Electric Ride-Ons for children, priced under $40- I could not find them in the ad.
Thanks

Match that is. Not sure why I wrote price watch haha

Thanks for the help-

Kelly- they have two different promos, which is what’s confusing. Yes they will price watch on Black Friday with other store’s black Friday ads. The other promo which is if you bought something at Walmart and now you see it cheaper somewhere else, they will give you a gift card for the difference, will not be valid on black Friday ads. This is how I understood it.
kelly C says
I can see what you are saying- and that this really confusing- I don’t quite understand why the would black out one day with one promotion but still do the other. So lets check my understanding- from all the stuff I have read in order for Walmart to price match black Friday sale prices, you have to be there black Friday because that is the only way to you would have a valid ad- Right?
Erin says
Right, you’d have to be there on black Friday to price match another store’s black Friday ad.
kelly C says
Just found this on Walmart’s website.. they ARE NOT price matching black Friday sales ads- but they ad match is in affect. I am taking from this then that since the ad match is in affect it means the regular weekly ad- but not the exclusive black friday ad that most of us will find in Thanksgiving’s day papers…

ehh, I would be leery of buying these cheap black friday appliances at walmart. Last year I bought a hand mixer. I was excited and used it that very day to bake a cake. I turned it on and started mixing. The next thing I know its smoking and i hear a “pop” noise. It had broke. I took it back a few weeks later(didnt want to deal with the long lines) and low and behold there were multiple people returning the black friday appliances because they had also broke. Hmmm…..

I got a crockpot new for like, 4$ and so far its been two years and it is still holding up…it doesn’t look very cute though.
Laura Davenport via Facebook says
Just need candy land and a bike. Mad they didn’t have the kitchen aid this year. But… They are price matching all deals!
Jamee says
Woofrigginhoo! If I don’t have to stand in line for 5 hours at Walmart, and then 4 more hours outside freezing at Target, I am happy! I will hang with you all day Shannon!
Shannon says
Jamee, I think they are opening at Midnight, so I think it might actually be easier. The only downside to online is that you risk the chance of not getting it if it goes out of stock. I would say that went it went live at 3am, I probably had a better chance then midnight – if its midnight EST, its only 9pm PST.
Carolyn says
Good morning
I have a question, I have never shopped at Walmart on blackfriday, I’ve always done Target, anyways, Does anyone know if the “good deals” $98 tv, $199.00 X-box w/kinect. $248 laptop, will be available on-line? I don’t see where it says, in-store only. ANY input would be greatly appricated!
Ho-Ho-Ho ;)
C.
Shannon says
Carolyn, I bought all mine online last year. It was so much easier — plus I was posting when stuff was available… so you can hang out with me :)
Carolyn says
AWESOME! You just made my day! (as always) and GIRRLL I’ll hang with you ALL day, ANY day! haha :)
woot-woot! :D
Shannon says
he he you want to come over and keep me company that night. I survive only on coffee and expresso those three days.
Carolyn says
I’m there sister, esp. if coffee is involved! ;)
Betty says
how do you shop those deals on line
Lisa Hutcheson via Facebook says
My CrockPot bit the dust last month and I think I might have to make the midnight trip to pick up a new one, since it’s under $10 in this ad!
Stephanie Johnson via Facebook says
I don’t shop in stores, but maybe I’ll find some great deals on the web site =)
