   Last year I went to the store on Thanksgiving Eve to check what products they had in stock and where they were located. Once I returned home I made a list of of the items I wanted to buy and the coupons I had for them. Then I created an envelope system to help me do multiple transactions. I think I had 12 total transactions. My cheat sheet would say: put RR from envelope 1 in envelope 3 to use for that transaction, etc. I ended up in the hospital ER on Thanksgiving morning and was totally bummed that I had put all that work in and couldn’t take advantage. My super husband came to the rescue!! He dropped me off at the ER and then headed for Walgreens. I had done such a thorough job creating the envelopes and mapping out my strategy that he was able to get everything on the list, complete 12 transactions, and was out of the store in less than 20min. He was SUPER proud of himself too! :) I may just send him again this year. LOL!! My advice to the person who earlier said you spend more money than you save… it’s all about strategy, pre-planning, and multiple transactions. It also helps if you have “friends” at the store. Make sure you are genuinely friendly and kind to the store employees and the manager too. If they like you they will be eager to help and won’t mind when you come in there with tons of coupons, RR’s, and multiple transactions.

   I have yet to figure out walgreens… any one have any scenarios of what can be purchased together for all the rewards to print? I always end up spending more than I save at wags :(

     I recently discovered you have to have purchase each RR deal in it’s own transaction in order for the RR to print.

       I think that is true to the extent that if you want to do multiples of the same product you must do separate transactions – although, I think if you have lots of rewards points or RR’s saved up from other products you can use that. For example, I have $40 in BR and plan on ringing most everything up in one transaction and then using my RR’s to roll from there.
