Earlier this year I did a series on Stockpile Prices. I am frequently asked what my stockpile prices are. I am republishing this for the newer couponers. Please be sure to read this entire post before using the lists.
This series has included Stock Up Prices on Meat, Stock Up Prices on Household Staples, Stockup Prices on Toiletries , Stock Up Prices on Pantry Staples and Refrigerated staples.
I have compiled all of these prices in a Printable Stockpile Price List that includes a place for you to write your own price. In addition, I have included a Blank Printable Stockpile Price List.
Remember, find prices that work best for you, don’t compare yourself to others, these prices are a starting point. I truly believe that these prices are obtainable for 85% of the FTM readers. However, it takes lots of work and time. Find the price that best balances your time and money.

I need a grocery mentor, that can help me get started! I know I am not paying any where close to what these prices are! I am located in Ohio, the only big chain I have is Kroger (in case there happens to be someone from the same area as I am I also have Buehler’s and Hawkins). Shannon, I know you had said previously that Kroger is a good one so I am excited about that! I would love to be able to cut our grocery bill, I know we just rebudgeted drastically and I am hardly able to buy enough food for the month with it now…. so this would be a HUGE help! lol Thanks to anyone that is willing to help!! :)

I’ve read over your prices and agree that they are pretty accurate. I know deals vary by region and I consider myself ‘good’ at what I do as far as couponing, even if it’s been with a young child (or even when she was a baby) going with me. :) My question is about cheese-block cheese. There was a deal about a year ago that I was able to get block 8 ounce Kraft cheese for free with coupon/catalina at Albertson’s and I’ve kept my eyes open for good block cheese deals and I can see them get down to about .95 an 8 ounce block for a store brand and a California cheese coupon and that’s as low as I see it! I see your stock up price is .50 but it’s been over a year since I’ve seen it that low or free (I shop in OR and WA). What I do for cheese and butter is typically buy on a money-making deal at Rite Aid or Wal-Mart and get for ‘free’ that way. I’m just curious where you find cheese this low. I will buy store brand but this is one area I like my specific brands too so I figure I get so much for free in other areas, I can splurge. Also, what are your freezer food stock up prices? Thank you!

Heather, I typically buy cheese when its on a catalina deal – like kraft is on this week at Giant- or the other cheese I get is Helluva. It is always on sale cheap and there is always a $1.00 off coupon.

Thanks for your reply. We don’t have that store or that name of cheese- what is Giant? Is it a Kroger store? I’ve never heard ot. It’s unusual for us to see a cheese coupon- besides sthe .55 California cheese. Maybe this is one that varies by region? Definitely shredded cheese I see a lot for $1 for 8 ounces, or at least a few times a year. Will keep looking. Thank you!
Shannon says
Giant is an east coast store. Yes, some things are definitely regional, but it sounds like you are doing fantastic!

*and ice cream for <$2. Lately

I also use my prices to limit treats. For example, I will only get a candy bar if it’s free, a big bag of candy if it’s <$1, and ice cream for ately, thogh, there have been a LOT of treat deals, though. I may have to lower my “buy price.”
