My ShopRite Shopping Trip-Paid ONLY $4.33 & Saved $137.54
I headed out to ShopRite today to stock up things that we needed in the house. There were a few other deals that I wanted to take advantage of. I was able to use a bunch of store coupons, digital coupons, manufacturers coupons along with quite a few catalinas and pair those with various sales and I paid JUST $4.33 and I saved $137.54. I am very happy with this ShopRite shopping trip, Woohoo!
Editor’s note: My complete trip will not be able to be completely duplicated because there are regional super coupons that some shoppers may not have also, this particular ShopRite store accepts competitors coupons and not all ShopRite stores accept competitors coupons. There a few individual deals that other shoppers may duplicate.

I think this is awesome! I just wish we had a ShopRite and Giant store near us. The closest one to me is in Stroudsburg but that’s about an hour away in an area I’m really not familiar with so I don’t think it’d be worth it to take the trip. I’ve been tempted though, even though I may get lost getting there. LOL Maybe one day I’ll get a bunch of deals from here together and take a road trip just to check it out. It’s not something I’d do often but maybe just a couple times a year. Those stores seem to have really good deals all the time. Weis does a pretty good job, but not as good as these. I personally love looking at huge shopping trips that where you didn’t have to spend a lot of money. I think it’s a great thing and anything anyone can save is a great thing, especially on groceries.
Shanta says
Thank you very much. Weis have pretty good deals too. One day, when you take that road trip, I would love to know how you made out.

I’ll definitely let you know. If I am able to stop at both Giant and Shop Rite it’d probably make it worth the trip. Now that the weather is finally getting nice it’d make for a nice trip. Thanks for all the hard work you put into the site too. I appreciate being able to save money on groceries every week. We all know it takes a lot to food to feed a family.

Nancy how far is the one in Bethlehem from you
Nancy Reese says
Hi Adriane :) Bethlehem is about 1 and 1/2 hours from my house. My husband says that Mount Pocono area would be closer than Bethlehem. We’ve been down in the Bethlehem area before but I’m not what you’d say familiar with that area either. Is that where you’re at? And PS, sorry, but I just now went to my email to see your message.
Adriane Cieplinski says
Yes I am in the Lehigh valley. Mt.Pocono is about an hour and a half from here too
Adriane Cieplinski says
I need eggs this week too..lol
Shanta says
We go through so many eggs, I had to stock up.
Adriane Cieplinski says
I have a few coupons to uses I am happy about that
Adriane Cieplinski says
You are awesome..and I love the way you value using coupons..
Shanta says
Another thing, I count catalinas with I spend not when I earn them.
Shanta says
Yes. my total was $100 – $10 = $90.00(which meets the required total for the $10 off $50 (which is a completely different coupon) now my total is $80.00 which meets the amount required for the $5.00 off $50 Acme coupon. Every household needs different products, items and such and no one trip person’s trip will be exactly identical to the next shoppers trip. I provided individual links to deals that were posted within my trip. To top everything off, I explained that my exact trip could not be copied before the breakdown. And my catalina’s were from various other stores. for instance (1) of my $3.00 catalina from Giant in a deal that was a moneymaker and another one was from a Rite Aid moneymaker deal and a ShopRite moneymaker, so yes I included those catalinas.
Shanta says
Look I am NOT breaking any rules OKAY(those were 3 DIFFERENT types of $$ coupons). ShopRite stores are individually owned and ALL of my dollar off coupons scanned and just like I was told by a ShopRite head MANAGER ‘If is scan, it’s yours’. This store was a store that is a different owner than my regular and I use super coupon in this same way at my home store as well and have been for years without any problems. I saved money on groceries for MY family and shared my shopping trip for the week that’s all that matter. You have a great day.
Elizabeth Moore Myers says
She did GREAT!!! I’d “brag” as well. This couponing thing is a lot of work and headaches abound. The most I’ve every saved was 17$ I paid liked.37 cents for the products.
Don’t understand what the “arguement” is here.
Shanta says
Thank you, Elizabeth.
Adriane Cieplinski says
I Don’t understand..to me it’s good information to help us to save.So encouraging
Shanta says
Thank you Adriane. You have known me for years and ‘bragging’ is not really my thing. I just wanted to share my personal shopping trip.
Thank you for everything.
