Ronald McDonald House® Needs Our Help
We all wish for our children to lead happy and healthy lives. Sometimes that doesn’t always work the way we want it to. Having a seriously ill child is stressful. The Ronald McDonald House® keeps children and families together by providing temporary housing, at no charge, to out-of-town families of seriously ill children who are being treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
Our local Ronald McDonald House of Central PA is in need our our help. I am hoping some of our For The Mommas readers in the central PA area can pull some items from their stockpile and help this organization. See below for their request.
“Families who stay with us at our Ronald McDonald House or spend time with us in our Ronald McDonald House Family or via our hospitality cart often connect with us during such unexpectedly stressful times that they don’t always have time to pack, or even remember to pack, some of the basic necessities likes toothbrushes, toothpaste, unscented lotion, shampoo & conditioner. Unfortunately, our supply of these toiletry items is running a little low and we could use your help. Please consider donating new travel-size toothbrushes, toothpaste, unscented lotion, shampoo & conditioner. Donations can be dropped off at our Ronald McDonald House in Hershey between 9 am – 8 pm seven days a week. Thanks!”
If you want to help but cannot donate products or in person there are other ways to donate.
