Welcome to the Back to Basic Series. This series has included Stock Up Prices on Meat, Stock Up Prices on Household Staples, Stockup Prices on Toiletries , Stock Up Prices on Pantry Staples and Refrigerated staples.
I have compiled all of these prices in a Printable Stockpile Price List that includes a place for you to write your own price.
In addition, I have included a Blank Printable Stockpile Price List.
Remember, find prices that work best for you, don’t compare yourself to others, these prices are a starting point. I truly believe that these prices are obtainable for 85% of the FTM readers. However, it takes lots of work and time. Find the price that best balances your time and money.
Thanks WeeklyAds2 for the content support.

Thank you Shannon! This list is awesome!!
Ashley says
What is your stockpile price that you would pay for diapers??
Shannon says
Ashley, I havent bought diapers in 7 years, so I am not the expert in that area.
Joyce says
I can’t open the blank list.
A. Botton says
I <3 THIS LIST! Thanks a million.
And I scored big-time with Purex @ RiteAId tonight with the $1.97 weekly circular price on 50 oz. jug, added a Manf. $1.00 off coupon, which made the final price $0.97…your list made me GRIN :D when I saw I hit the jackpot stockpile price with my 12 coupons!
Now, if only I had remembered to use my $3 off $15 coupon for taking the on-line survey that I found with your help last night. ::SOB::
Ah well, I've only been doing this a week, so I won't beat myself up TOO badly. Besides, the silver lining was my receipt from tonight's score included another $3 off $15 survey coupon. Yippy-i-ay!
Shannon says
Umm yeah for 1 week, you are rocking and rolling!
Kathy Bampfield says
Awesome idea. I have been looking for this for awhile. I don’t know if I’ll be able to find everything this low but it is a great starter for me. I need to make a copy for my hubby this will help when he wants to buy the items on “sale” thinking he is getting a deal! ha!
Thanks.
Kat
Shannon says
@Kathy Bampfield,
Yep Kat, using your own prices works! I love the idea of giving a stockpile list to the hubs!
Trish says
I love this!! I sure could use some help finding some bargains to stock pile staples and everything else!

So handy! Thanks for preparing and sharing this.
Betsy says
This is some fabulous info – thanks for sharing! Helps to give a better frame of reference on items I don’t purchase regularly and to know what a REALLY good deal looks like. I’m happy to say that I must live in an area with a slightly lower cost of living b/c I can often times get things for even cheaper than your stock up price!!!
Gina says
Thank you so much for doing this. I’m sure it took a lot of time and effort, but it is wonderful and so helpful!
newbie couponer says
i am new to the site and couponing… i have been looking for a stock up list like this! thanks so much. for reference though, where are you located? i am near mobile, AL. sales tax here is 9.5% on groceries. i don’t think your prices include tax, but an idea of whether i would need to adjust them up or down for regional price difference might be useful.
Shannon says
@newbie couponer,
Yes you would need to add tax – these are after coupon prices, but before tax. Eckk to the food tax! Good luck
Pammy says
Thank you so much for doing this!!!!!! I just did a rough draft at the commissary this week and this is perfect! (((((HUG)))))

Great lists. Now, how do I find these items even at the FTM prices much less the stockpile prices? Even w/coupons I’m not hitting that low.
If I could manage laundry detergent for $1, I’d be in heaven!
thx

I like to use excel a lot. I just started a “shopping list” of the stuff I normally have to buy each shopping trip (produce/meat/dairy/drinks) and then the “other” stuff… that I have now a stock pile of such as pop tarts/cereal/condiments/soup etc…
So this way I already know the “staples” I’m buying each week and then add on the sale items or specialty items needed.
I have put in the “regular prices” so I have the base/regular price. That shiny sale flyer can sometimes trick you …. so I make sure it is a good deal!
I also have a slot for the sale price/current price at time of the shopping trip and then amt of Qs I’ll be using and a slot for quantity of the item. For those math challenged like myself, I have it set up so it totals each column and then subtracts coupons and gives me the final price. This way I can keep track of about what I expect the bill to be. I shop alone so its a lot to bag, make sure they scan each coupon, etc… so this way you know what you expect to pay and if its radically off you can review before you leave the store.
newbie couponer says
@Jessica G, are you willing to share your excel file? i would love to try it out.
Jessica G says
@newbie couponer, sure but its very rough – I’d have to clean it up a bit.. gimme your email and I can send it to you this week!
Shannon says
Jessica,
If you’d like to share it with us, I would love to share with everyone — credit to you of course!

I am hosting a Coupon Swap with a group of gals in the next month and looking for material for couponers. If I printed this as a resource and had it available for people to take would you mind? I would not touch the address/your information at the bottom of the page (and of course would reccommend people visit the site!).?
Thanks.
Shannon says
@Caylin,
Sure – share!
