When you add everything up for the week, it was a great week.
Update: When I was grabbing my stuff to take a photo, I accidentally grabbed clorox wipes.. you need to buy these wipes (which I did):
How did you do this week!
Chadwick says
I went to my Rite Aid TWICE looking for the cleaning sales like the one you have listed and others have listed, and sadly my Rite Aid doesn’t seem to have it. I think they ran it last week, but it’s not on this week, sadly. I love your site, though! It’s saved a lot of money already for a beginner like me, so thank you very much!
For the Mommas says
Chadwick,
This sale is this week at Rite Aid. Perhaps your store either isn’t participating or doesn’t have signs up. Did you check your ad?
Chadwick says
Yeah, I’ve checked the ad several times (copies from my newspapers and online ad for the store) and walked in and checked everything. They have a sale on spending $20 for some cleaning items, but the prices aren’t the same, and it’s not for the items listed here. I don’t think my Rite Aid is participating on that particular sale, but the rest of the sales listed here have been great this week.
Sheila says
My Rite-Aid wouldn’t let me use the Brach’s coupon for the Halloween candy on sale because it said “coupon not valid on holiday products”. Bummer!
Shanta says
Hey Shannon, there is this one particular CVS is ALWAYs giving hassle about using my coupons. I was told today that I could NOT use the $4/1 Refillable razor on the razor like the one in your trip (mind you I have already purchased 4 of those razors & used the $4/1 P&G Q at other CVS’s with no problem). She said it had to be the one pictured on the coupon, what upsets me is the fact that what she said is not true & this is not the first time of me having problems with this CVS, so irked:(
Sorry Shannon, great trips!!!!!!
For the Mommas says
Ugh.. Shanta it is a refillable razor so I am not sure why you couldn’t use it! Irritating!
Lydia (Thrifty, Frugal Mom) says
Shanta, if I were you I would politely ask to talk to the manager. If you don’t get anywhere there then call the 1-800-SHOP-CVS number or email them and complain. I’m pretty sure that they would want to know that is happening!
Shanta says
Hey Shannon & couponers, Shannon it is a particular CVS that ALWAYs gives me hassle about my coupons, today I was told I could not use the $4/1 Refillable razors on the razor like the one in your trip(mind you I have already bought 4 of those & used the $4/1 with no problem at other CVS’s though) she tried telling me that it had to be the one pictured on the coupon. So irked:(
Chrissy says
Do we need to buy the Venus razors in separate transactions or will it still accumulate the ECB if done in one transaction?
For the Mommas says
I did one.. if you look real hard at the ECB, you will see it is $15, somewhere under there :)
Ainsley says
Great job!!
Question- what is the ecb limit at CVS for venus razors? I thought it was only. Thanks!
For the Mommas says
I have heard 6. I stopped at 3 because there were only like 10 on the shelf and I wanted to leave some for others.
Lydia (Thrifty, Frugal Mom) says
Ugh! Wish I would have known. I thought the sign said the limit was one!
Tiffany says
You have clorox wipes in the pic, but if you did buy Lysol wipes instead, you only needed to buy one more and you could have submitted the rebate the third one free!
For the Mommas says
ha ha no I didn’t I am just an idiot and put the wrong ones in the pics.. Frank had put everything away and I got it back out.. my mistake!
For the Mommas says
Updated my post.. thanks for catching that .. they do look alike though!
carol says
I’m curious why you split Rite Aid into 2 transactions? Since we no longer have the opportunity to roll the UPR, I’m not sure of the benefit. I forgot about the non-rolling last week when i went in and planned out using the UPs on the other half of my order and was very disappointed. I’m not loving this new policy! I had quit going to Rite Aid for a long time but needed something last week.
For the Mommas says
Carol,
I went on two different days to roll the UPR. ;)
Heather says
I spent $20 at Walgreens on $80 worth of merchandise. No one is making a fuss about it, but the Covergirl and Maybelline both have coupons out and both get you some pretty good br points. The lipgloss stash was getting a bit on the low side, so I splurged. Got two bottles of soap, four bottles of shampoo and conditioner, four lipglosses, popcorn, cooler ice packs from the clearance section, diapers, two bottles of oxyclean, some fancy crest toothpaste, a couple of the frs energy drinks.
I was happy.
For the Mommas says
NICE!
