Learn The Art of Couponing: Couponing Decoded with FTM – Week 3
Welcome to week #3 of our Couponing Decoded Classes!
Each Saturday we will post a topic and we will all work through that topic together throughout the week. That will give us all time to discuss and work through any questions that you may have. The goal here is for everyone to share feedback and ask questions, because we all interpret things differently and learn differently. The main discussions for this class are going to take place over on our Kroger Facebook page. Click here to join in on the discussions.
We’ve covered quite a bit over the past few weeks and hopefully you are beginning to understand it all. Feel free to reference back to the previous week’s lessons for any refreshing you may need, and remember practice makes perfect!!! Here are the direct links:

This week’s focus is: “REBATES & DIGITAL COUPONS”
This week we are going to show you how to save even more $$$ by using digital coupons and rebate apps. These digital options can turn great deals into moneymakers and I cash in on them all the time!
Digital Coupons:
Most stores now have their own apps that you can download onto your phones, tablets, etc. and clip digital coupons to use in-store. You can also log in to most of the stores sites from a computer to clip these coupons. Here are a few links to our favorite stores digital coupons:

Rebate Apps:
Rebate apps are apps you can download from your device’s app store and submit for rebates after you purchase the qualifying items. The number of rebate apps is growing and that’s great news for couponers like us because that means saving more money! Often times we will even see the same products on multiple rebate apps! Several of these apps have the option to link a store shoppers card, eliminating the need to submit receipts. For the stores that don’t have that option, you simply snap a picture of the receipt inside the app to claim the offers. Money earned from these rebates gets deposited into your account and you select the method to receive the funds. I usually have the money sent directly to my PayPal account. Here are a few of our favorite rebate apps:

- Checkout51 – Click HERE to learn more and get signed up
- Mobisave – Click HERE to learn more and get signed up
- Snap by Groupon – Click HERE to learn more and get signed up
- Shrink – Click HERE to learn more and get signed up

There is another app called SavingStar that works a little differently. The offers on SavingStar are manufacturer’s coupons, not rebates. They are not to be combined with regular manufacturer’s coupons, but rather an additional coupon source. SavingStar also offers the option to directly link several stores’ shoppers cards so that you don’t have to hassle with submitting receipts.
