Dole Salad Recall

Dole Fresh Vegetables is recalling 756 cases of its DOLE Seven Lettuces salad because the product may be contaminated with Salmonella. The bags of Seven Lettuces salad are stamped with a use-by date of April 11, 2012, UPC code 71430 01057 and product codes 0577N089112A and 0577N089112B, the company said.
The product was distributed in 15 states, including Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin, reported Market Watch.

I just found a GIANT dead nasty fly in a bag of Dole Romaine AFTER we ate most of it. Ahhhk! I’m shocked to see that this is not uncommon! So disgusting. I feel so ill.
Makes me never want to buy bagged salads anymore!! Its just too easy to make a sald yourself. NO MORE BAGGED SALADS FOR ME!!
